Desciption: Goals and Objectives: Enhance Collaboration and Productivity through SharePoint Solutions Customize and Extend SharePoint Functionality Upgrade and Modernize SharePoint Environments Develop and Automate Business Processes Ensure SharePoint Performance, Scalability, and Security Provide Technical Expertise and Best Practices Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Ecosystem and Third-Party Tools Create and Maintain User-Friendly Interfaces and Experiences Align Development Efforts with Business Objectives, Documentation Maintenance and Support Tasks and Responsibilities Develop and deploy solutions that simplify and improve collaboration across teams, departments, and stakeholders.

Optimize SharePoint's use as a central hub for document management, knowledge sharing, communication, and workflow automation.

Customize team sites, communication sites, and intranet portals based on organizational requirements to enhance user adoption and productivity.

Use SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, client-side scripting (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript), and server-side development (e.g., .NET, C#) to deliver advanced customizations.

Extend SharePoint's out-of-the-box capabilities by building custom web parts, widgets, forms, and workflows to address unique business needs.

Integrate external systems or third-party applications with SharePoint using REST APIs, Graph API, or other connectors.

Assess and plan for migrations from older SharePoint versions (e.g., SharePoint 2013 or 2016) to SharePoint Online as part of a modernization effort.

Execute data and document migrations, ensuring minimal downtime, data integrity, and usability through post-migration validation.

Modernize legacy SharePoint implementations by transforming traditional workflows, forms, or layouts into modern experiences.

Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into automated workflows.

Develop custom workflows using Power Automate, Microsoft Flow, Nintex, or SharePoint Designer to streamline operations.

Implement task tracking, notifications, and approval workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Build scalable architecture and deliver performance-efficient SharePoint solutions to support organizational growth.

Apply enterprise-grade security to SharePoint sites and content by defining proper access controls, permissions, and governance policies.

Optimize search and indexing features for faster retrieval of vital documents and information.

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on SharePoint best practices, including architecture, development standards, document hierarchy, and library organization.

Guide end-users and business teams on the proper use of SharePoint features and functions to maximize ROI.

Recommend tools, frameworks, or design patterns to ensure scalable, maintainable, and future-proof development practices.

Design seamless integrations with other Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Teams, Power B', OneDrive, and Outlook.

Enable complex data visualizations and reporting by connecting Power Bl to SharePoint lists, libraries, or workflows.

Configure integrations and connectors for third-party business-critical tools such as CRM and ERP systems.

Provide detailed documentation for all custom development, workflows, and configuration tasks to ensure maintainability.

Deliver post-delivery knowledge transfer to internal teams to support the solution after contract completion.

Provide troubleshooting and support for critical SharePoint issues during the contract period.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Align SharePoint development efforts with the company's broader goals, IT roadmap, and compliance requirements.

Ensure that proposed solutions meet key performance indicators (KPls) and deliver measurable business value.

Key Requirements Contractor must be a U.S.

Citizen.

Minimum of 5 years of advanced SharePoint development Strong expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and prior versions (e.g., ShareP0int 2013, 2016, 2019).

Ability to develop both modern and classic SharePoint experiences.

Extensive experience creating custom web parts, extensions, widgets, and site customizations using the SharePoint Framework.

Proficiency in client-side web development languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, jQuery, and CSS for front-end customizations.

Strong knowledge of server-side technologies like .NET Framework, C#, and PowerShell for SharePoint back-end development and automation.

Familiarity with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and web services for integrating external systems with SharePoint.

Expertise in automating and enhancing business processes using tools such as: Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.

Nintex or SharePoint Designer Workflows for legacy workflows.

Experience in integrating SharePoint with the Microsoft 365 suite (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Outlook).

Understanding of data integrations with third-party applications, CRMs, or ERPs through APIs or connectors.

Expertise in SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or AvePoint.

Direct experience migrating legacy systems (e.g., SharePoint 2013/2016) to SharePoint Online.

Ability to plan and execute migrations, ensuring zero data loss, minimal downtime, and user adoption.

Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in SharePoint implementations.

Previous experience working in a similar industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.) is a plus, especially for compliance-heavy industries.

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.

Microsoft Certified: SharePoint or Modern Workplace Developer certifications.

ITIL foundation knowledge related to IT services and processes is beneficial.
