Video Editing Team Member
We are building a next-generation video editing team focused on speed, innovation, and technical experimentation. This role is for editors who don't just execute workflows they rethink them.
You will be part of a small, elite, full-time team designed to operate at 150%+ the output of a traditional editor, while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of how modern video editing is done using AI, automation, scripting, and emerging technologies.
This is not a traditional editing role.
It is 75% production editing, 25% R&D, and 100% forward-looking.
What You'll Do
- Edit high volumes of short-form and long-form video with exceptional speed and quality
- Create mobile-first, platform-native content (TikTok, Shorts, Reels, etc.) alongside traditional formats
- Pull raw footage directly from internal servers and optimize workflows around large media files
- Experiment aggressively with:
- AI-powered editing tools
- Automation, scripting, and templates
- LLMs, prompt-based workflows, and machine-learning-assisted editing
- Build, test, and document new editing systems that improve:
- Velocity
- Quality
- Scalability
- Cost efficiency
- Present new tools, techniques, and workflows to the broader editing organization
- Help set new norms for how editing is done company-wide
- Absorb a significant volume of edits currently handled externally, helping convert variable costs into a high-performance internal team
- Travel occasionally to:
- Industry events
- Local meetups
- Technology conferences
- Innovation-focused gatherings
