Job Description:
Delta Millworks is a leading manufacturer of wood cladding and decking products. We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and experienced Customer Support Representative to support our sales and customer service efforts. This position is currently in Austin but will be relocating to Wimberly area within 10-12 months.
Job Responsibilities:
- Route initial customer inquiries to the appropriate internal department. This includes answering the main phone line and fielding inquiries through the Companyβs website.
- Assist customers with general inquiries, product support, order processing, and technical issues.
- Provide support to Sales Staff by entering sample orders into our internal order fulfillment system and working with our logistics team to quote freight for Customer Orders.
- Facilitate customer service claims as they occur. Route claims to the appropriate staff (Production, Logistics, Account Executives, Territory Managers) and proactively guide claims to resolution.
- Build professional relationships and rapport with customers.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base of Delta products and internal processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of customer service or related relevant experience required.
- Bachelorβs degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-centric approach.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Apps, and the ability and willingness to learn new systems and procedures. Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving solutions.
