Position Responsibilities:

* Lead critical technical development efforts as a senior subject matter expert on RF/ Radar theory, digital signal processing, and radar concepts.
* Define system performance requirements and ensure interface definition supports various functional components of the seeker's and missile's architecture.
* Conduct analysis to optimize total system-of-systems performance or system architecture as applied to algorithmic functionality pertaining to the acquisition and tracking of targets.
* Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and guide recommendations for system robustness in the presence of challenging operational environments.
* Develops and validates requirements for various complex communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
* Develops and validates requirements for electricalelectronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects, and structures.
* Develops architectures to integrate complex systems and components into higher level systems and platforms.
* Performs complicated trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and

* Defines and conducts critical tests of various kinds to validate performance of designs to requirements.
* Manages appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
* Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues.
* Supports project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and other required
inputs and conducting appropriate reviews.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

What You Will Do

  • Receive job assignments, piece quantity, and special instructions from the supervisor.

  • Read standard operating procedures and operating sheets.

  • Clean, wipe, and sand parts as necessary.

  • Set torque wrenches and assemble brakes and their components.

  • Test brakes, rework brakes with leaks, and replace lee plugs as needed.

  • Stamp information on tags or pads and notify the supervisor of stock needs or machine problems.

  • Record transactions and quality data; report machine or process issues to the supervisor.

  • Check parts against the pick list and set up riveters as required.

  • Torque all applications as required.

  • Retrieve parts from the warehouse and store/retrieve brake components, maintaining current inventory records.

  • Mask and plug parts as needed and touch up paint as required.

The Opportunity

As an Intermediate Teller you will be accountable for delivering superior and prompt customer service by performing transactions as requested on a variety of banking services through the lobby and/or drive thru in alignment with defined guidelines and process. You will respond to and advise customer inquiries on product features and services as well as be knowledgeable of prescribed policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines associated with USAA's banking products.

This job profile is designated as a Sensitive Position. Sensitive Positions are those positions in which individuals have the authority and ability to conduct in-scope activities (movement of USAA or Member funds) as defined within the Enterprise Sensitive Positions Mandatory Time-Away Compliance Policy. Employees in Sensitive Positions are required to fulfill a Mandatory Time-Away (MTA) requirement of 10 consecutive business days each calendar year.

This role is available at our San Antonio Office, in office 5 days per week.

Work Hours:

  • Training 3 weeks- Monday - Friday 8:15am 5:15pm

  • Monday - Friday - 8:15 am - 5:15 pm

  • Rotating Saturdays 8:15 am -1:15 pm

What you'll do:

  • Works under general supervision and is accountable for delivering outstanding customer service in performing a variety of basic banking services though lobby and/or drive thru.

  • Resolves member issues and/or complaints in a professional manner; collaborates with team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for customer concern and seeks management assistance as needed.

  • Follows operational processes, procedures, and requirements and applies their job experience to carry out moderately complex work assignments, like estate accounts and special endorsements.

  • Maintains low error ratio, teller cash drawer limits and remains within cash outage allowance.

  • Identifies new and emerging fraud transactions and provides accurate, timely communication to management to mitigate loss.

  • Responds to and advises member inquiries on product features and services.

  • Recognizes and refers potential product needs and self-service opportunities.

  • Maintains and adheres to all policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures applicable to Teller Operations (i.e. Patriot Act - Anti-money Laundering, Regulation CC, OFAC, etc.).

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.

  • 1 year of customer service experience as a teller, in financial services, or retail sales environment.

  • General math and calculator skills with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

  • Strong organizational, and communication, and customer service skills.

  • Basic knowledge of applicable banking regulations, guidelines, and procedures.

What sets you apart:

  • 2 years bank teller experience

  • US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $43,680.00 - $59,980.00

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

 

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
