Job Summary:
- We are seeking an associate to join our Pennsylvania office(s) location (hybrid).
- The ideal candidate must be organized and able to handle a high-volume case load, able to develop appropriate defense strategies, receptive to feedback and taking direction but also self-motivated to meet goals in a timely manner.
- Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing files for defense from inception to resolution, extensive reporting and communication with clients and insurers, conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and appearing in court and trial preparation.
- Practice areas include, but are not limited to, General Liability Defense and Product Liability Defense.
Requirements:
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is a must. Admission to the West Virginia Bar is a plus.
- 0 to 3 years of experience, preferably in defense litigation (asbestos litigation experience a plus).
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Superior research and analytical skills.
- Superb writing and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform all aspects of the position satisfactorily while working both independently and as part of a team.
