POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Makes independent value judgments when supervision is not available. Assumes responsibility for achieving quality work, setting up patient load and maintaining schedules. Has individual responsibility for specified CT procedures. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists, and Licensed by the State of Texas (MRT) is required. One year of experience as a registered radiology technologist with a working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year experience preferred as a CT Tech
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• BLS certification
