CNC Machinist III (Senior Level)

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday) | Flexible Scheduling Available

The Role

As a CNC Machinist III, you are a master of your craft. You will use advanced machining techniques to produce high-precision parts and execute complex programming strategies. In this senior role, you’ll also be a mentor, guiding the next generation of machinists and helping the team stay ahead with new equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert Machining: Perform high-level complex machining and 3D programming independently.
• Innovation: Design custom fixtures for production use.
• Multi-Axis: Apply advanced Lathe concepts and true 5th-axis machining.
• Collaboration: Work with Project Managers on project scope, timing, and costs.
• Leadership: Train and provide solutions to less experienced machinists.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 7+ years of relevant machining experience (setup, programming, and running equipment).
• Software: Proficient with Fusion 360 or related CAM software.
• Technical: Expert in 2D/3D programming, multi-axis machining, and live tooling.
• Precision: Deep understanding of GD&T, high-tolerance machining, and print reading.
• Education: High School Diploma required; 2-year Machining Degree is a big plus!
