Location: Western Massachusetts or Rutland County, VT area
Compensation: base + bonus + potential equity

With strong international partnerships and advanced manufacturing technology already proven in Europe, the organization is bringing a new level of innovation to the U.S. prefab and modular building market.
This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level and play a key leadership role in launching and scaling a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility focused on prefab wall panels and modular building components.
The Role
We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking Plant Manager / Manufacturing Leader to help stand up and lead operations for a new production facility. This individual will be instrumental in building out a modular and panelization manufacturing operation, implementing modern, process-driven manufacturing techniques—leveraging European best practices while adapting to the U.S. market.
This is a highly visible role with a seat at the leadership table, ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is excited to build, innovate, and scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, launch, and ongoing operations of a prefab manufacturing facility
- Drive process development, optimization, and continuous improvement across production lines
- Implement advanced manufacturing methodologies in partnership with international (European) experts
- Establish production workflows for prefab wall panels and modular components
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team
- Ensure efficiency, throughput, and quality standards are met and continuously improved
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and leadership teams
- Help shape the long-term operational strategy for U.S. expansion
What We’re Looking For
- Background in manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering
- Experience in process improvement, plant operations, or production leadership
- Experience in CNC equipment is a plus
- Exposure to prefabrication, modular construction, or building products manufacturing is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of throughput, efficiency, and scalable manufacturing systems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a startup or build-from-scratch environment
- Comfortable collaborating with international teams and implementing new technologies
- Open to relocation to the MA/VT region if not currently local
