IT Business Analyst – Oracle Financial Systems (Must have Oracle Fusion experience or an equivalent enterprise financial platform) Summary The IT Business Analyst – Oracle Financial Systems serves as a strategic partner between Finance and Technology , responsible for supporting and administering Oracle Fusion Financials and related integrations, reporting tools, and governance processes. This role blends hands‑on ERP systems expertise with strong business analysis and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Data Engineering, and IT Product Management to ensure that system configuration, integrations, and reporting structures align with enterprise financial objectives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oracle Fusion & EPM Administration • Support and administer Oracle Fusion Financial modules including GL structures, reporting hierarchies, security roles, and configuration management. • Support and administer Oracle EPM including access, dimensions, and configuration updates. • Maintain financial reporting structures aligned with accounting governance. • Coordinate system patches, updates, and configuration changes. • Financial Systems & Integration Oversight • Partner with Data Engineering to define and validate integrations between Oracle Fusion and enterprise data platforms. • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root‑cause analysis. • Maintain system flow diagrams, data lineage artifacts, and source‑to‑target mappings. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Partnership • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to gather and refine system requirements. • Translate accounting processes into technical configuration requirements. • Assist IT Product Management with backlog prioritization. • Identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements. Application Support & Vendor Coordination • Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle Fusion–related support requests. • Coordinate with onshore and offshore support teams to meet SLAs. • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams. • Track support trends and report on system health and performance. • Qualifications • 5+ years supporting ERP or financial systems in a multi‑entity environment. • Oracle Fusion Financials experience strongly preferred (or equivalent enterprise financial system experience). • Strong understanding of General Ledger structures, chart of accounts design, reporting configurations, and security models. • Solid SQL skills for data validation and integration troubleshooting. • Familiarity with ERP-to-Data Warehouse integration patterns. • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills to align business and technical partners. Education Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Communication Skills • Ability to write clear reports, business documentation, and procedures. • Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
