We are seeking a Systems Application & Cloud Engineer with a strong background in web-based and cloud-based development, server and network design, and enterprise system support. The candidate will work directly with our lead engineer, focusing on developing, enhancing, and maintaining mission-critical web applications while also supporting our underlying infrastructure.
You’ll have the space to bring new ideas to the table and the support to turn them into real improvements. While you’ll have plenty of helpful resources, this is a hands-on role for a motivated individual who can work independently with minimal oversight. You will write code, design systems, debug production issues, and make pragmatic decisions that balance stability with forward momentum. We’re not looking for someone to chase trends — we’re looking for someone who takes initiative, understands tradeoffs, and knows how to move a real product forward.
* Develop, enhance, and maintain mission-critical applications.
* Provide development and operational support for our ChemLaunch platform.
* Lead and support cloud-based and on-premise server and network design initiatives.
* Perform system analysis, application design, and user interface development.
* Design, create, and manage Microsoft SQL databases and stored procedures.
* Support distributed applications and REST-based services.
* Execute testing, implementation, planning, and technical documentation.
* Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet delivery goals.
* Implementing secure API authentication (OAuth, JWT).
* Remote, with very occasional travel. Must be available to work full Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
*Strong competence with, or willingness to learn:*
* Windows Application, Services, and Background Process Development.
* C# / .NET / DELPHI
* Active Directory and Windows authentication integration.
* Multithreading & asynchronous programming.
* Application performance optimization.
* Secure coding practices.
* Advanced troubleshooting and product support of enterprise applications.
*Ideal candidates will possess experience with:*
* Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
* Environment management (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).
* Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.
* TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
* PowerShell or Bash scripting.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $114,000.00 per year
