We’re hiring: Outbound Account Executive — EMPO
EMPO is building the next generation platform for city discovery — helping people find what’s happening around them in real time while helping the restaurants, bars, and venues that power cities reach the audiences looking for their next experience.
From happy hours and trivia nights to live music, festivals, sports watch parties, comedy shows, markets, and pop-ups, EMPO helps people get out of the house and experience the energy of their city.
We’re now expanding into new markets across the U.S., and we’re looking for a high-energy Outbound Account Executive to help drive that growth.
This role will focus on launching partner markets such as Austin, Nashville, Kansas City, and New Orleans, while continuing to grow our home market of Chicago.
Role Overview
As an Outbound Account Executive, you will work directly with restaurants, bars, hospitality groups, and venue operators to introduce them to Empo+, our platform that connects venues with highly engaged local consumers who are actively deciding where to spend their time and money.
You will be responsible for building relationships, generating outbound opportunities, and helping establish EMPO as the go-to discovery platform in every city we launch.
What you’ll do
• Prospect and generate outbound opportunities with restaurants, bars, and hospitality groups
• Book and lead meetings with decision makers across hospitality venues
• Introduce venues to Empo+ and demonstrate how the platform helps them reach high-intent local customers
• Work alongside our leadership team to support launches in new markets
• Travel periodically to partner cities to help establish and grow the EMPO presence
• Contribute to expanding the EMPO network of venues and experiences across the platform
Role details
• Title: Outbound Account Executive
• Base Salary: $75,000 + commission
• Full-time | 9–5 schedule
• In-office role (Chicago)
• Travel required for market launches and partnerships
