The Work You’ll Be Doing

This newly created position will be working under the direction of the Engineering Manager maintaining critical master data and documentation within the D365 ERP System. Role and responsibilities:


  • ERP data management: Execute the end-to-end setup of released products in D365, including the assignment of unique part numbers and technical attributes.
  • BOM creation & maintenance: Build and manage multi-level Bills of Materials, perform BOM versioning and certification to ensure production readiness and costing accuracy.
  • Routing & process mapping: Create and maintain manufacturing routes in D365 for all areas of the business.
  • Commodity & trade compliance: Enter and maintain commodity codes to ensure accurate customs identification and duty calculations.
  • NPI quality documentation: Author and maintain technical documentation for new product launches, including work instructions, process flow charts and PFMEA/DFMEA reports.
  • System optimization: Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot data discrepancies and optimize D365 workflows for better data integrity across the NPI lifecycle.


Requirements:


  • Two-year technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related technical field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
  • One to two year's experience in a technical administrative or engineering support role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience using ERP systems, D365 preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing structures, including sub-assemblies, BOMs and routing links.
