Overview:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate and drive assigned delivery vehicles in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Operate vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs, including air-brake systems
  • Drive tractor-trailers and tag trailers as required under Class A CDL
  • Ensure trailer hitches are properly and securely attached to tractor units
  • Secure all cargo within trucks or trailers to prevent damage or breakage
  • Assist Summerhill team members with safe and efficient loading and unloading
  • Plan and follow delivery routes using GPS to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
