  • In collaboration with the Director of Technology, recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the VDC department.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations of VDC team members.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage deployment of VDC initiatives and VDC technology platforms.
  • Train, educate, and mentor VDC engineers as well as project staff on current BIM/VDC processes and services.
  • Lead in the compliance, development, and refinement of the Harvey Cleary BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and adhere to the Harvey Cleary BIM standards and refinement of future iterations.
  • Create Building Information Models (BIM) of varying Levels of Development (LOD) and dimensions (3/4/5/6D) to meet project requirements.
  • Identify, champion, and implement innovative improvements in model-based processes and technologies that improve project delivery.
  • Perform clash detection of federated models and lead coordination efforts with project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, manufacturers, etc.
  • Create 4D and physical models to inform construction planning, site logistics, constructability reviews, lift plans, safety, quality control/assurance, etc.
  • Support preconstruction teams in the development of 3D quantity takeoffs.
  • Provide technical expertise to assist business development and marketing teams in pursuit efforts, including interview preparation and assistance with site logistics, physical models and 4D site logistics models.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to review the BIM coordination process, as needed, in collaboration with project teams.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure the VDC team is producing construction documents that are efficient, accurate, and appropriate for the team’s use in their coordination efforts.
  • Mentor and guide the VDC department staff to further the value of the department and it’s day to day responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent training/experience.
  • 5+ years AEC industry experience in VDC role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP industry, CAD modeling, construction scheduling, and time managment
  • Proven leadership qualities from previous project roles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to function as BIM/VDC project manager on assigned projects.

  • Supervises, collaborates with, participates with, or functions within a practice or collaborative agreement with an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) and remains accountable for the actions of the APP while employed with the company.

Responsibilities
Our Occupational Therapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Occupational Therapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. Job Summary

Under the Criminal Investigations Division of the Georgia Tech Police Department, support investigators with online searches, data retrieval, and online data tracking. Provide online support for investigators when needed and provides on-call data retrieval. Investigate, analyze, obtain, compile, and disseminate records and information to assist law enforcement personnel with all types of criminal investigations. Job Duty 1 -
Conduct & Log Threat Assessments/Open-Source Checks. Manage and disseminate the collection of criminal intelligence data for entry into an information storage and retrieval systems. Review overnight activity reports and conduct criminal intelligence workups for individuals identified in the reports; disseminate information to the appropriate investigative entity.

Job Duty 2 -
Support Patrol/Investigations Division with Video Footage. Use open-source data and software to document and track potential threatening individuals, situations, and security-related issues to the campus of Georgia Tech.

Job Duty 3 -
Conduct investigations for assigned cases and provide assistance for non-assigned cases. The Berkeley School of Education (BSE) at the University of California, seeks qualified temporary non-tenure track, part-time Facilitators or Co-Facilitators (Teacher - Special Programs or TSP) to provide support through the The National Board Resource Center (NBRC) at UC Berkeley for teachers seeking National Board Certification; a project of the Center for Research on Expanding Educational Opportunity (CREEO). The NBRC is designed to support teachers who serve in high need schools as identified by the State of California and in particular teachers who represent the student populations in those schools.



Facilitator Responsibilities: We are seeking outstanding instructors (TSPs) who are Nationally Board Certified and understand the processes and rigor of earning this certification. Final format (hybrid: online and in person) will be developed in collaboration with the Nevada National Board Support Center.

The Design Engineer (DE) is a contributing member of the core project team for Faith & Performance projects. The DE supports projects through the lifecycle from sales concept and design development to construction drawings and implementation support.
