FACULTY, Family & Community Medicine Residency
Join Onvida Health as a Core Faculty Physician for our Expanding Family & Community Residency Program in Southwest Arizona!
This opportunity is ideal for a Family Medicine physician seeking a faculty, outpatient-focused, hospital-employed role within a supportive academic and clinical environment. The position offers an outpatient family medicine practice with dedicated time for teaching and mentorship, supported by strong specialty access and system resources, allowing providers to focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.
About the Position:
- Full-time, hospital employee.
- This outpatient focused, Faculty position is a combination of precepting, admin time, and patient care (60/40 FTE split); meaning you would carry your own panel of patients.
- Enjoy working with a collaborative GME team of physicians, coordinators, and staff.
- J-1 and H1-B Visa Sponsorship.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in family medicine is preferred; however new grades eligible to apply.
- Residency program leadership or faculty experience is preferred.
- Must be American Board Certified.
About Our Family & Community Residency Program
The Family & Community Medicine Residency Program at Onvida Health, established in July 2013, is a unique three-year program that has earned the highest level of accreditation from the ACGME.
The program currently includes 32 residents and accepts 10 PGY-1 residents annually, with plans to expand the program over time.
Residency interviews are conducted each year during the months of October through January, allowing the program to thoughtfully recruit and support future physicians committed to community-focused care.

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology
The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. About the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies at the Georgia Institute of Technology
The School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies was created in fall 2025 to further position Georgia Tech as an international leader in research, education, and community and industry engagement at the intersection of arts, technology, and design. Housed within Georgia Tech's College of Design, the school's pedagogical approach integrates artistic foundations, technical innovation, and creative entrepreneurship. The school leverages Georgia Tech's existing strengths in areas ranging from artificial intelligence and student startups to digital media and music technology, adopts the culture of practice-based studio pedagogy in the College of Design, and builds sustained partnerships with creative studios, technology providers, startup companies, nonprofits, and artists-in-residence taking advantage of Atlanta's thriving creative ecosystem.
The school will begin offering a B.S. in Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies in Fall 2026. Through the degree, the School seeks to develop the next generation of leaders that will guide the transformation of creative practices by emerging technologies, as we also support the workforce needs and continued growth of the creative economy in Georgia.
The launch of this new school is a critical part of Georgia Techs broader strategic plan for growing the arts across the Institute. - Pursue a robust set of scholarly and/or creative activities that establish the faculty member and the school as a nationally recognized leader in the integration of arts, technology, and creative practice
- Contribute to the planning and development of the new school, including strategic planning, curriculum development, and the eventual creation of additional academic offerings
- Participate in service at the school, college, and Institute level, including search committees, student applicant reviews, and governance committees.

The School is interested in HI/AP topics including, but not limited to: bonding technologies for 3DHI, co-packaged photonics, 2.5D/3D HI technologies, advanced materials for HI/AP, system co-design and optimization, glass-core packaging technologies, and advanced assembly and interconnect technologies. Focus on system level demonstrations using HI/AP and circuit/system co-design are relevant.
The School seeks individuals with outstanding potential for research achievement, and a strong aptitude and interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as interest and experience in translating their research to commercial applications. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent. The candidate will also be associated with the Georgia Tech Packaging Research Center, which is a multidisciplinary research center with strong industry and government support devoted to heterogeneous integration and advanced packaging.

Job Summary

Bharat Professorships in Computational Journalism, at its campus in Atlanta, Georgia. The Bharat Professorships will further research and innovation that focuses on information access in the public sphere, exploring responsible, civic-minded approaches to computational journalism and civic technologies broadly.
