Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Join our dedicated team at a well-equipped primary care practice in Colonial Heights, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to provide care in a supportive environment backed by a larger healthcare organization. The practice serves a diverse patient population, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. With on-site laboratory and radiology services, and an EMR system using Epic, you'll have everything you need to deliver quality healthcare.

• Provide primary care services to patients in a family medicine setting.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR system.
• Handle adult outpatient medical procedures without ICU/CCU involvement.
• Perform required gynecology procedures, including pelvic exams and Pap smears.
• Manage minor surgical procedures such as suturing of minor lacerations and incision & drainage.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Primary Care.
• Active Virginia medical license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Availability to start on May 15 for a commitment of 6 months.
• A mandatory Self-Query NPDB report, dated within 30 days of the presentation date.
