Director of Revenue
Summary of Position: We are recruiting for a local home builder focused on beautiful homes built with the most modern building practices. We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Revenue Leader to help drive further growth. This is a unique opportunity to become a high level manager in an already fast-growing company with a "top of the range" compensation package.
This is a "Player-Coach" role reporting directly to the Owner. You must have a history of successfully generating new leads, driving traffic to model homes, and managing the sales process.
Duties and Responsibilities
MARKETING AND LEAD GENERATION (The "Player")
- Hands-On Execution and Management: With the help of a marketing agency, develop, build, and directly manage cost-effective ad campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Content & Copywriting: Create high-converting content and copy for social media, email drip campaigns, website, signage, and print materials.
- Digital Storefront: Keep our website (WordPress) and home directory platforms (Zillow, , MLS, etc.) fully optimized and up to date with current inventory.
- Data & Analytics: Monitor marketing performance metrics (CPL, CPA, ROI) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and ruthlessly adjust strategies to protect the budget.
- AI Integration: Actively use AI tools to increase your own productivity, streamline workflows, and solve complex problems.
SALES MANAGEMENT (The "Coach")
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Use the CRM to track marketing success from click-to-close, manage the sales pipeline, and build realistic revenue forecasts.
- Team Accountability: Manage, coach, and hold a small staff of on-site sales reps (2-3) accountable to follow-up standards and closing targets. Ensure they follow best practices to get deals across the finish line.
- CRM Enforcement: Ensure sales reps use the CRM correctly, log every interaction, and keep all deals up to date.
- Leadership Reporting: Present sales performance, revenue metrics, and strategic adjustments to the Owner and management team during weekly sales meetings.
Optimal Candidates Will Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Communications. (An MBA is a plus, but proven, hands-on execution is the absolute requirement).
- Practitioner-level technical skills: WordPress, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).
- 3+ years of direct, lead-generating marketing experience.
- 2+ years of experience in new home construction, real estate, OR another high-ticket/long-sales-cycle industry.
- 2+ years of management experience, ideally managing commissioned sales representatives.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, scrappiness, and a demonstrated ability to cost-effectively generate leads without relying on massive corporate budgets.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and valid auto insurance coverage.
