Primary Responsibilities:

  • Policies and Procedures - Develop and maintain all department policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with department procedures and control standards, adjusting existing and/or implementing additional controls as needed.
  • Audit Management - Coordinate department preparation and short/long-term responses to internal and external audits and exams.
  • Department Operations - Plan operational improvements, resolve operational problems, and take corrective action to ensure effective operations.   • Products and Services - Coordinate with other departments on the implementation of new products and services. Remain knowledgeable of banking industry trends or issues in order to assist in the assessment of needs and opportunities for service enhancements or new products.
  • Customer Service - Assist other department employees with activities related to deposit and treasury management services and related products. Provide assistance to other employees by liaising with them through healthy and positive interactions. Develop and recommend unit quality, productivity, and service level goals as well as provide input for other areas of the Bank.
  • Core Conversion & Maintenance - Collaborate with the Core Banking Systems Administrator to update and maintain core banking and ancillary systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of Core System experience required.
  • 10+ Prior banking experience required.
  • Experience leading diverse teams from entry level to middle manager.
  • Sound education in financial products and services, banking regulations and laws.
  • Strong accounting and math skills.
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with frequent routine changes. Ability to multi-task and prioritize with ease.

Interpret and implement medical prescriptions for speech-language pathology services, ensuring appropriateness for the home care environment

Conduct thorough assessments in the patient's home using standardized tools to evaluate communication, cognitive-linguistic function, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities

Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect both short- and long-term patient goals, with attention to the home environment and available resources

Adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress, caregiver input, and observed response to therapy, ensuring goals remain functional and achievable in the home setting

Document all assessments, interventions, patient progress, and caregiver interactions using electronic or paper records in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards

Ensure documentation supports reimbursement criteria and meets all required timelines and confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA and agency-specific guidelines

Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on communication strategies, compensatory techniques, and safe swallowing practices within the context of daily home routines

Establish strong rapport and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care

Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and care planning discussions to align therapy goals with overall care plans and discharge readiness

Collaborate with care managers and vendors to recommend and coordinate the provision of durable medical equipment or assistive technology when indicated

Maintain professional licensure through ongoing continuing education, and stay current with clinical best practices relevant to home-based speech-language pathology

Assist in mentoring peers or evaluating competencies of other clinicians as needed, contributing to team development and quality of care

Position Qualifications

Minimum Required:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or current candidate in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Current New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Current CPR certification

Preferred:

Previous clinical experience

Experience working with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Positive Customer Relationships
  • Answering Customers Insurance Queries in an informative, but simple and understandable way(IE: avoiding abbreviations and jargon)
  • Educating Customers on their coverage options to help them make informed decisions in regards to all of their insurance needs.
  • Responding to quote Requests and leads within the same business day

  • Using Multiple software platforms to make changes to policies

Requirements

  • high school diploma required (Associates degree preferred)

  • Has P&C insurance license, or is willing to Get licensed immediately
  • Ability to explain complex insurance coverage issues in a simple and understandable way
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and willingness to sell to customers over the phone
  • knowledgeable of Microsoft office and able to learn the use of a digital management system, proprietary insurance software suites, and other software as needed.
