Job Description

• Always maintains a positive attitude while supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles.
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards; show commitment to Team objectives; be aware of Guest Satisfaction scores and work to achieve these goals as a Team. • Through teamwork with the Slot Leadership Team, ensure exceptional guest service and prompt response to guests’ needs at all times.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on property.
• Must maintain the strictest confidence with any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.
• Provide cash handling service to casino patrons in your assigned areas of Casino Floor.
• Responsible for assigned casino funds and proper handling of funds exchanges.
• Respond to change lights on slot machines, service calls from Dispatch and help all customers needing change or other assistance.
• Notify the appropriate Ameristar staff members to render assistance outside the scope of your responsibilities.
• Ensure that the slot machines are operating properly, and all procedures are executed according to company policy.
• Perform minor slot machine repairs not requiring a Slot Technician.
• Assist casino patrons with general questions concerning the Casino.
• Comply with all Company and departmental policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Barback to join our dynamic team in Kenner, United States. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring smooth bar operations by maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and overall bar efficiency.

• Stock and replenish bar supplies including glasses, ice, garnishes, and beverages
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, equipment, and glassware
• Assist bartenders during peak hours by ensuring adequate inventory levels

Job Description

Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests. May also be responsible for collecting payment and making change for guest checks.

Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.

Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests utilizing a computerized guest check system.

The Kitchen Steward (dishwasher) is responsible for the tasks assigned by the Steward Assistant, Executive Steward, Chef De Cuisine, and Sous Chef. Coordinate and administer all food preparation, presentation, and service procedures as directed by the Executive Chef. Monitor quantity of prepared food. Ensure proper rotation and utilization of stored food to prevent waste. Oversee food preparation to ensure proper consistency, flavor, presentation, and portion control. Monitor employee performance, provide instruction as needed, and monitor staffing levels.

The Laundry Room Attendant is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The position is also responsible for performing the daily operations of the laundry facilities. This includes loading, washing and storing of laundry items.

The Laundry Room Attendant:

Responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company and departmental standards.

Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents.

Clean assigned number of guest rooms according to company and departmental standards including but not limited to:

Changing bed linens

Collecting used bath linens and replenishing with fresh linens

Dusting hard surfaces

Vacuuming carpeted areas

Cleaning bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet, etc.

Replenish room amenities such as tissues, soaps, etc.

Stock supply cart with supplies necessary for cleaning guest rooms.

Update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork.

Notify housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms.

Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior Experience In a Similar Position Preferred.

Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.

Must be able to push/pull/maneuver supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Other physical requirements include but are not limited to kneeling, reaching, stooping, bending, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
