Role: Senior Project Manager – Data Center

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $130k – $170k DOE

Our client, a big player in the General contractor market is hiring for a Senior Project Manager to support major hyper scale data center and mission critical projects in the Chicago market.

This role is responsible for leading large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery in line with client expectations, safety standards, and commercial targets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale data center/mission critical electrical projects
• Manage budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and project schedules
• Oversee field teams and coordinate with estimators and engineers
• Drive scheduling and critical path management
• Maintain strong client communication and stakeholder alignment
• Mentor and develop junior PMs and project engineers
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget
• Remain actively involved on-site throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in electrical project management
• Proven experience delivering data center or mission critical projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems
• Experience managing large budgets and complex schedules
• Leadership mindset with ability to guide and develop teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
