Job Summary and Qualifications The Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Coordinator plans, develops, implements, and manages the Adult ECMO program. This includes oversight of patient care activities, revision of clinical policies and procedures, and collaborative responsibility for maintaining the quality of ECMO services. The ECMO Coordinator works closely with the multidisciplinary team across the continuum from the time a patient is placed on ECMO until discharge. This position also has accountability for coordination of activities including patient education, staff education, surgical coordination, and data collection.

What will you do?

What You’ll Do

The Program Specialist I is an entry-level position within CAN Community Health’s Education & Prevention Team. This role requires a basic understanding of HIV, Prevention, and Treatment pathways. The provisions of this role include but are not limited to HIV/STI Testing, Health Education, Risk Reduction Counseling, PrEP/HIV and Hep C Linkage and community outreach.

- Provides HIV/STI/Hepatitis C testing and risk reduction counseling in community-based settings and in clinic settings when applicable, including phlebotomy.
- Provides education on Pre-exposure Prophylaxis to clients and community members and links clients to the Pre-exposure Prophylaxis program.
- Ensures client confidentiality 100% of the time by conforming to HIPAA laws and CAN Community Health Policies and Procedures.
- Accurately documents the provision of testing in the electronic medical record, state reporting systems and on paper as required.
- Fosters and assists in developing new community partnerships through the establishment of BRTA/FRTA agreements, other informal agreements, as well as formal agreements, including Memorandums of Agreement/Understanding and Business Associate Agreements under the supervision of the HIV Prevention Program Manager and Prevention Team Lead.
- Serves as a representative of CAN Community Health and conducts community-based outreach in various settings including but not limited to shelters, bars, inpatient centers, resource centers, parks etc. Assist in the planning and execution of events including testing, tabling and provides health education as appropriate.
- Distribute condoms and other promotional materials to community members and partner organizations.
- Accurately documents and maintains all records as related to prevention data collection efforts.
- Represents CAN Community Health at local, state, and national conferences and meetings, as deemed necessary.
- Collaborates with other disciplines internally and externally to coordinate client/patient services and community needs.

What you'll do:

  • Acquire and apply basic knowledge of auto coverages. auto physical damage, and liability, in order to evaluate and settle high volume and low complexity auto claims such as; simple comprehensive and collision (i.e., single vehicle, parked and unoccupied, clear liability), glass, roadside, and rental vehicle coverages for repairable vehicles.

  • Resolve claims through proactive problem solving and decision making, within authority guidelines and under direct supervision, while overcoming obstacles, and effectively prioritizing the workload.

  • Clearly document thought process including damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.

  • Collaborate and set expectations with external and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution.

Key responsibilities of the role include safe, age appropriate and culturally competent care by performing basic patient t care functions, i.e. ambulation, vital signs, transporting supplies/equipment/patient medications and other duties deemed necessary. Overview

We invite you to join us in making a significant impact on the early detection of hearing loss in newborns by becoming a Newborn Hearing Screen Site Supervisor. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the Newborn Hearing Screen program at multiple sites within your region.

Responsibilities

The Site Supervisor (SS) is responsible for all administrative functions, staffing and reporting related to their assigned site as well as managing expenses and budget. In addition, the Site Supervisor is responsible for all national clinical and operations programs at their assigned sites and ensuring adequate coverage and screening of all eligible babies. The Site Supervisor is responsible for visiting each site in their assigned area on a regular basis to foster a collaborative and open line of communication with the hospital team.

Staffing & Scheduling:

- Create schedules to ensure adequate coverage to meet hospital obligations and program requirements.
- Provide hearing screen coverage as needed which may include weekends and Holidays.
- Monitors hospital and team member credentialing to include TB/CPR requirements and maintain site team member files.
- Review timecards and approve time off requests.

Training:

- Train all new hires and ensure continued training for current team members as well as monitor KPI's (key performance indicators) and review with team during monthly staff meetings.
- Participates in company and hospital training/orientation when applicable.

Contract & Employee Relations:

- The Site Supervisor maintains accountability to ensure that all eligible babies are screened.
- Ensure consistent regular onsite visits, meet with hospital leadership including presenting reports.
- Address team member and hospital concerns to ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.
- Maintain employees TB/CPR requirements while being credentialled at all locations supervised.

Reporting & Data Management:

- Supervise daily state reporting for all team members and complete and present all state and hospital reporting per state guidelines.
- Monitor and review Medical Sponsor reports and timely submission by physician sponsor, to ensure adherence to Medical Sponsor Policy.
- Review and reconcile birth stats monthly utilizing resources as appropriate to resolve any questions / concerns prior to deadlines.
- Monitor Power BI reports for site and Hearing Screen Technician (HST) efficiencies and address as needed.

Supplies & Equipment:

- Order supplies and equipment for their assigned sites and complete quarterly inventory.
- Monitor equipment check list weekly and ensure no parts are interchanged without contacting NATUS (equipment vendor).

Other Duties: The Site Supervisor will perform other duties as assigned.
