In this role, you will report to the Site Services Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel - and our customers - to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.
Hourly Range: $27 - $28
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11 am - 3 pm

What we're looking for:
Education: High school diploma or GED is required
Experience: 3+ years of experience in inventory management, laboratory operations coordination, or a related field.
Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office suite
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of proper packaging, documentation, and regulatory compliance for hazardous and restricted materials.
- Skilled in managing inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock replenishment, material staging, and PointofUse (POU) location support.
- Proficient in chemical tracking software, SDS management, and handling/ordering of laboratory chemicals in accordance with safety regulations desired.
- Comfortable navigating and using multiple platforms simultaneously, such as inventory management systems, chemical databases, ERP tools, and customer-specific portals.

Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate all inventory categories, including common lab consumables, chemicals, and shipping/receiving materials.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through cycle counts, restocking, material staging, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication regarding inventory changes and customer requirements.
- Uphold all safety protocols, including chemical handling, PPE use, and hazard awareness.
- Conduct and participate in GEMBA walks to identify safety and process improvements.
- Maintain certifications and ensure all required safety training is current.
- Support safety initiatives and help enforce adherence to company and customer standards.
- Operate required Avantor and customer systems such as inventory management platforms, chemical tracking software (e.g., DFS, 3rd-party tools), return systems, order entry platforms, and quoting systems.
- Enter shipping data, track outgoing materials, and resolve routine shipping issues in customer platforms.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer service activities, including order entry, status updates, reporting, and metric tracking.
- Communicate inventory needs, service updates, and any scope-of-work changes to customers and internal teams.
- Understand customer expansion or service requests and escalate appropriately to leadership.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures and Statements of Work.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and assist in drafting SOP revisions or process updates.
- Train onsite staff and new team members on operational procedures and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment in stockrooms, POU locations, and office/cubicle spaces.

Role Overview
Under general supervision, the Sr. Accountant will collaborate with partners across the organization to:
Provide detailed reports, including profit/loss projections
Present financial reports and insights to internal leaders
Analyze financial data and propose solutions to accounting issues
Investigate and provide feedback on irregularities
Support monthend, quarterend, and yearend closing processes
Ensure SOX compliance and support remediation efforts
Assist internal and external audit processes
Manage fixed asset accounting including acquisition, classification, depreciation, and disposal
Partner with Engineering on capital project accounting (budgets, AUC tracking, requests, capitalization)
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, roll forwards, and variance analysis

Avantor is looking for a DEIB Coordinator to play a key role in supporting Avantor's global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging strategy by providing operational, administrative, and analytical support to the DEIB team.
This role ensures smooth execution of DEIB programs and events, oversees the administration of ACT activities, manages key reporting requirements, and helps to further progress against strategic goals. The DEIB Coordinator will collaborate across functions, support program participants and volunteer leaders, and help create meaningful experiences that strengthen belonging across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
1. ACT (Associate Centric Team) Support & Program Administration
Serve as a first point of contact for all ACT- related inquiries and support needs.
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to ACT leaders, ambassadors, and allies - including liaise with legal for contracts, manage swag request and tracking of quantities, oversee invoice procedure
Maintain and update ACT MDL lists, calendars, governance documentation, and meeting schedules.
Track and manage all ACT metrics, attendance, and engagement.
Deliver regular reporting to DEIB leadership (monthly) and ACTs (quarterly), highlighting progress, gaps, and opportunities.
2. DEIB Events, Learning Programs & Engagement Activities
Assist in planning, logistics, scheduling, and execution of DEIB events such as Monthly DEIB Discussions, DEIB Learning Labs, and other engagement activities.
Support the creation of DEIB content and meeting materials, including slide decks, briefs, communications, and related tools.
Track attendance and participation metrics for all DEIB events and prepare required reports.
3. DEIB Academy & Career Accelerator Program Support
Provide administrative support for DEIB career accelerator and learning programs including managing registration, communication flow, attendance, and follow-up reporting.
Maintain reporting on the Workday Reward section up to date.
Keep track of participant lists and progress dashboards.
4. Data, Metrics, Maintenance & Reporting
Support the analysis of DEIB program data and performance against strategic metrics.
Maintain high accuracy tracking systems and collaborate with HR and analytics partners as needed.
Maintain accuracy of the DEIB Culture Minutes, the DEIB Avantor Connect pages and relevant DEIB knowledge articles in the MyHR Library
5. Engagement Committee Coordination
Oversee the scheduling, promotion, preparation, and documentation for Engagement Committee meetings.
Lead the monthly meetings promoting ACTs activities and connecting sites to share opportunities to collaborate.
Ensure timely dissemination of agendas, materials, action items, and communication updates.

The team

What you'll be doing:
Warehouse material handlers' essential duties are to perform various tasks in the warehouse such as but not limited to:
- Inbound: Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight, counting products, compare to manifest to check all shipments for damage, infestation, or production code dates. Material handlers must report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms. Also be able to sign for inbound shipments when necessary. All inbound shipments are moved safely to storage locations to be efficiently stacked as store merchandise.
- Order Picking: Ensure that the correct product number, quantity and type (lot, batch, serial number) of product are picked. Warehouse material handlers' essential duties are to perform various tasks in the warehouse, such as but not limited to:
