Preconstruction Manager - Impact Major K‑12 & Commercial Builds
Job Description
A Preconstruction Manager will step into a high‑impact role supporting a strong pipeline of commercial and K‑12 projects, leading design‑phase estimating, cost control, critical‑path scheduling, and early site logistics while working directly under the Director of Preconstruction.

With a team of about 50 employees, they deliver projects ranging from small renovations to $140M ground‑up builds in markets such as K‑12, higher education, municipal facilities, commercial, retail, hospitality, and multifamily housing.

Description The Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for: Overseeing and managing the preconstruction phase of projects.
Developing and maintaining detailed project budgets, schedules, and estimates.
Collaborating with design teams to ensure constructability and value engineering.
Managing bid processes and evaluating subcontractor proposals.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Ensuring compliance with all building codes, regulations, and company standards.
Supporting project teams during the transition from preconstruction to construction phases.
Providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members within the construction department.
