- Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Travel Emergency Department RN (ED RN) New York, USA Start Date: May 18 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a travel assignment in a high-volume Emergency Department.
The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills and experience treating patients across all age groups, including pediatric cases.
Shift Details Shift: 10:30 AM
- 11:00 PM Scheduling: Block scheduling is not guaranteed Floating: May be required Scrub Color: Navy Blue Travel Requirements Candidates must live 75 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel Local candidates ( will be considered at a local pay rate Travel experience required Requirements Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Some pediatric ED experience required Active New York RN License (NURSYS verification required) Current AHA Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS Certification TNCC
- Required Experience with EPIC EMR
- Required 2 recent ED RN Charge Nurse or Manager references required Driver's license matching candidate demographics Skills checklist matching specialty RTO must be included at time of submission Unit Information Department: Emergency Department Total Beds: 64 2 Triage 40 Acute 6 Super Track 2 Trauma 10 CDU 6 Psych Patient Population Newborn Pediatric Adult Geriatric Common Diagnoses Stroke Sepsis Trauma Myocardial Infarction (MI) Cardiac Arrest Respiratory Failure Specialty Equipment Rapid Infusor Arctic Sun Required Drips & Medications Pressors: Levophed, Neosynephrine, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, Nitroglycerin Antiarrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl Other: TNK, Heparin, Insulin Preferred Charge Nurse capability highly preferred Start Date: May 185c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
