Ray Therapeutics mission is to restore vision to people with retinal degenerations. RayTx is using a novel bioengineered optogenetic protein optimized for human vision delivered by AAV to restore visual function in a mutation agnostic approach and without the need for light enhancing eyewear. The company is developing its lead candidate RTx-015 in retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative retinal disease with significant unmet medical need as well as a pipeline to treat both rare and large market indications.

We are currently seeking an exceptional team member to join our team as a CMC Technical Development Specialist. This role will report to the Senior Director, CMC Analytics, and will have an active role supporting the general CMC department as well as our process, product management, and MSAT teams. The position requires hands on support for AAV analytical development, transfer, and qualification through validation support for our lead candidates from Pre-IND to BLA. The role is based in the Berkeley, CA office with a hybrid work from home/in office requirement and may require travel to our external vendors at in the United States. The job duties and responsibilities include but is not limited to the following:


  • Collaborate with analytical development and process development teams to develop, qualify and/or validate AAV gene therapy assays.
  • Develop analytical methods and support method optimization/characterization.
  • Independently execute analytical assays including molecular biology assays, chemical/biochemical assays, and cell-based biological potency assays, for internal CMC commitments, process monitoring, release and stability.
  • Develop protocols for analytical transfer, qualification and /or validation studies and execute associated wetlab work.
  • Present aasay methodology and principles to external partners and support method transfers.
  • Execute routine assays with high presicion and provide data summaries and reports in a timely manner.
  • Document all raw data, method plans, and summarize conclusions.
  • Author and review Test Methods, Reports, and Protocols.
  • Work in the lab independently and in a collaborative environment with minimal guidance.
  • Support CMC outside of analytical teams to move programs forward, e.g. shelf-life determination, upstream characterization etc.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Biochemistry, Biology, bioengineering or a related fields and at least 10 years of Biotech/pharmaceutical industry experienced required.
  • Experienced in compendial methods, CE-SDS, gel electrophoresis, HPLC, DLS, ddPCR or qPCR, ELISA, and cell based potency assays.
  • Hands on experience in AAV gene therapy analytical methods and testing required.
  • Experience in precision pipetting and cell culture (handling, aseptic techniques, maintenance), plate-based imaging, ELISAs, luminescence and fluorescence detection techniques.
  • Curiosity and good scientific knowledge and acumen.


Compensation Range and Benefits:

  • For this role, the anticipated base salary range: $145,000 to $160,000, based on the candidate's professional experience level. The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to skills, education, and experience.

Role Description

This is a unique position in semiconductor inspection and metrology equipment sales to labs across

SUMMARY:

The additional Technical Draftsperson will play a key role in our engineering department, collaborating closely with the design, fabrication, and project management teams to translate conceptual design into well-coordinated, technically accurate construction documents. This role requires a firm grasp of fabrication methods, architectural detailing, industry standards, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The selected candidate will contribute to projects across the entire design-to-fabrication spectrum, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines. Under the direction of the Project Manager and Director of Design/Technology, the 3D Technical Designer/Drafter produces shop drawings for multiple elements or entire projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop detailed shop drawing packages and architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, to provide clients, project managers, and fabrication leads with an accurate representation of the design intent, scope of work, materials, and fabrication/assembly methods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture Industrial Design, Interior Design, or other related Design/Engineering specialization preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of post-college experience as a drafter/detailer for one or more of the following fields: Cabinetry/Millwork, Furniture, Retail, Hospitality, Commercial Architecture, Museum, Trade Show Exhibits, Theater, and Amusement Park projects.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D Design in Rhino or a willingness to learn it within a few months of starting.

What You’ll Achieve

As a   Technical Product Manager  for the AI ISV Partner Program – HealthCare , you will own the strategy, evolution, and execution of Dell’s AI ecosystem for financial services and HealthCare customers. This role blends deep industry domain knowledge, AI platform strategy, and partner ecosystem leadership.
You will define and prioritize AI use cases across the HealthCare landscape, identify ecosystem gaps, guide ISV partner strategy, and serve as a trusted technical and business interface to HealthCare customers. Your work will directly shape how Dell enables AI adoption across banks, payment providers, insurers, capital markets, and emerging HealthCare innovators.

You Will:

Establish Dell’s vision for enabling HealthCare or medical services customers with AI across regulated and high‑scale environments
Own and prioritize HealthCare and medical services AI use‑case and workloads spanning fraud, risk, payments, capital markets, and GenAI use cases
Identify portfolio gaps and guide HealthCare and medical services ISV partner strategy, including prioritization, onboarding, and ecosystem investments
Engage directly with HealthCare and medical services customers, translating business and regulatory needs into actionable priorities
Track industry and regulatory trends to identify new opportunities and keep Dell’s Healthcare AI ecosystem ahead of market demand
Lead cross‑functionally for execution across engineering, solutions, partner enablement, validation, and GTM teams

Essential Requirements
8+ years of experience in technical product management, AI platforms, or ecosystem strategy, with significant HealthCare or medical services experience
Strong understanding of how medical institutions and HealthCare companies operate, including regulatory, risk, and scalability considerations
Deep knowledge of AI/ML workloads and architectures used in financial services.
Proven experience defining use case frameworks, portfolio strategy, and partner ecosystems
Demonstrated ability to engage directly with customers at a technical and business level.
Excellent communication and executive level presentation skills

Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience shaping AI solutions for highly regulated industries
Experience working with HealthCare ISVs, financial data platforms, or regulated enterprise software ecosystems, Dell AI platforms or comparable AI infrastructure ecosystems (NVIDIA, hyperscalers, enterprise data platforms)

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $156,400.00 - $202,400.00
