Position Title: Coordinator, Social Media
Summary: The Coordinator, Social Media supports the execution of the brandβs global social media operations. This role is responsible for assisting with content publishing, community engagement, calendar coordination, and performance reporting across key social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and APAC channels such as WeChat, Weibo, Redbook, and Douyin. The position works cross-functionally to support social initiatives and ensure consistent execution across platforms.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the day-to-day execution of the brandβs social media presence across multiple platforms
- Primary platforms: Instagram (Feed & Stories), TikTok
- Secondary platforms: X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest
- APAC platforms: Weibo, WeChat, Redbook (Xiaohongshu), Douyin
- Assist with organizing and maintaining weekly social media calendars and scheduling posts using Sprout Social
- Support community management by engaging with approved content in accordance with brand guidelines, platform best practices, and cultural sensitivities across markets
- Assist with management of the Alexander Wang Broadcast Channel, including scheduling and posting
- Compile weekly social media performance reports and assist with analytics tracking
- Reporting tools include Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytics platforms include Sprout Social and Lefty
- Support the execution of social strategies by tracking performance, identifying patterns, and sharing observations and insights
- Conduct ongoing research into social, cultural, and platform-specific trends, including emerging voices, communities, and conversations relevant to the brand
- Monitor global and regional cultural moments to support timely, relevant, and inclusive content execution
- Participate in regular check-ins to review calendars, performance updates, research findings, and upcoming content
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail/DTC, Wholesale, Buying & Planning, PR, Design, and E-commerce teams to support business objectives
- Assist in sourcing creative talent and external imagery (e.g., Getty, earned social), ensuring alignment with brand standards, diversity considerations, and social media guidelines
- Support the ongoing evolution of the brandβs social media operations, processes, and cultural relevance
- Support the security of social media platforms by adhering to company security protocols and escalating suspected issues, including unusual activity or potential account compromise.
Position Requirements:
- 1β2 years of experience in social media, digital content, or marketing; fashion or luxury experience preferred
- Bachelorβs degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok posting tools and basic content editing
- Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Pinterest
- Exposure to APAC platforms including Weibo, WeChat, Redbook, and Douyin preferred
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Sprout Social and Lefty preferred

Reporting to Title: Vice President, Global Integrated Marketing + Social
Summary: The Director of Social leads Alexander Wangβs global social media strategy, driving brand desirability, cultural relevance, and measurable business impact through world-class, platform-native storytelling. This role owns the global social vision, including copy creation and editorial direction, across priority channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WeChat, Red Book, and emerging platforms. The Director ensures creative excellence, narrative clarity, and consistency of voice across all social and campaign-driven content in support of brand and commercial priorities.
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Integrated Marketing + Social, the Director of Social plays a critical role in translating the brandβs creative and go-to-market strategy into compelling social narratives that live at the intersection of fashion, culture, and commerce. This position partners closely with Creative Services, Production, PR/VIP, Merchandising, and regional teams, particularly APAC, to activate campaigns, launches, and cultural moments with precision, relevance, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media and Content Strategy
- Develop and lead the global social and content strategy across all core platforms, ensuring alignment with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and marketing milestones.
- Own the global social content calendar, balancing brand storytelling, campaign activation, and cultural responsiveness.
- Tailor strategy by platform and region, partnering closely with APAC teams to ensure culturally relevant, localized execution within global frameworks.
- Identify, test, and scale emerging formats, creators, and cultural trends to keep the brand at the forefront of conversation.
- Oversee day-to-day publishing in partnership with Creative Services and regional teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and brand-right execution.
Creative Ideation, Campaign Development, and Copy Creation
- Lead social-first creative ideation for campaigns, launches, and cultural moments, ensuring content is native to platform and elevated in execution.
- Ensure copy and messaging are considered from the earliest stages of creative ideation, shaping concepts through language, tone, and narrative as much as visuals.
- Lead copy creation for social channels, including campaign messaging, captions, headlines, video scripts, and cultural moments.
- Oversee and edit copy developed by internal teams, agencies, creators, and freelancers to ensure consistency, quality, and narrative alignment.
- Develop clear, inspiring creative briefs for creators, agencies, and freelancers that reflect the brandβs point of view and creative ambition.
Editorial Voice and Brand Stewardship
- Define, steward, and uphold Alexander Wangβs editorial voice across global social platforms and campaign-related content.
- Build and maintain editorial frameworks, copy guidelines, and narrative principles that scale globally while allowing for regional nuance.
- Partner closely with the SVP of Marketing, Creative Services, and PR/VIP to ensure messaging alignment across campaigns, activations, and brand moments.
- Demonstrate strong social and cultural fluency, with the ability to steward the brandβs voice across global platforms with care, context, and intention. This role requires balancing creative risk with a deep understanding of diversity, belonging, and audience impact.
Insights and Performance
- Track, analyze, and report on KPIs including engagement, reach, virality, EMV, CTR, and conversion-related metrics.
- Translate insights into actionable creative and strategic recommendations that inform future content and campaigns.
- Present monthly performance reviews, trend analysis, and learnings to Marketing, Communications, and Merchandising partners.
Team and Workflow Leadership
- Establish and oversee workflows for content planning, briefing, approvals, and publishing.
- Collaborate closely with APAC partners and social agencies to ensure unified global execution and messaging.
- Provide creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to internal team members and freelance contributors.
- Lead and develop the Social Media Coordinator through clear communication, hands-on coaching, and strong exampleβfostering growth, accountability, and operational excellence.
Cross-Functional Partnership
This role collaborates closely with:
- SVP of Marketing and Marketing leadership for strategic direction, alignment, and prioritization.
- Creative Services and Production for execution of visual and narrative assets.
- PR/VIP and regional marketing teams, particularly APAC, for localization, amplification, and storytelling cohesion.

Qualifications and Profile
- 8β12+ years of experience leading social media and content strategy for a global fashion, luxury, beauty, or culture-driven brand.
- Proven track record creating platform-native content and copy that drives brand heat and measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative-building skills, with experience leading copy creation for social and campaign content at scale.
- Strong creative judgment paired with analytical rigor, able to connect creative decisions to performance signals.

Summary: The Temporary Pattern Maker supports the Design and Product Development teams by translating creative concepts into precise, production-ready digital patterns. This role is responsible for ensuring the designerβs vision is accurately interpreted and executed through expert pattern-making techniques and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate combines technical skill with an eye for detail, ensuring each sample reflects the intended fit, proportion, and design integrity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and create patterns utilizing Design teamβs sketches as guides
- Provide feedback and suggest alternatives to ensure sketch can be translated into a pattern
- Ensure the overall vision and design details are interpreted correctly and realistically in samples
- Creates and develops digital patterns to support design and product development processes
- Advise sewers on necessary steps and techniques to create the sample accurately
- Inspect finished samples to ensure pattern accuracy, advise on changes
Position requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in patternmaking in high end, designer runway brands
- Proficiency in digital pattern making is required
- Tailoring experience required
- Excellent draping and/or flat patternmaking skills
- Strong fabric knowledge

JOB TITLE: Assistant Designer, Footwear
REPORTS TO: Senior Designer, Footwear
SUMMARY: This role will support the Footwear Team on all aspects of the product life cycle from concept to final development. This candidate will be actively engaged in brand-appropriate research to aid the design team in development for the season. The role requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, technical foundation, an eye for proportion and materials and excellent sketching skills β both by hand and digitally.
This candidate will liaise cross functionally to ensure detailed communication on all design information and will assist in preparation for all milestone meetings ensuring accuracy, feasibility and aesthetic excellence through the process.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to:
- Assist in design and development of footwear concepts across multiple categories (from concept sketch through prototyping to final sample) development should include: last research, vintage research, swatches/mock up developments, material research, sketches and fabric manipulation.
- Create detailed design sketches, renderings and technical drawings for presentations and factory handovers
- Prepare and update tech packs, wall charts and design specifications with accuracy and clarity
- Support material, color and trim research; contribute to seasonal mood boards and design presentations
- Collaborate with product development to ensure design intent is maintained through prototyping, sampling and production
- Participate and support Senior Designer in preparation of all fittings, prototype reviews and design revisions; making sure to take accurate notes and help with corrections on prototypes and samples
- Maintain organized digital and physical design archives and sample library and assist in presentation preparation for milestone meetings
- Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams internally to ensure transparency on design details and collection overviews
- Prepare updated information on all design developments for weekly design ops meetings
- Under the guidance of the Designer prepare solutions or supplemental ideas/ concepts where necessary that are in accordance with the seasonal line plan.
- Work on any additional projects as requested by the Designer.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- BA or BFA specialized in Footwear
- 1-3 years experience in footwear designer capacity
- Detailed flat sketching skills (digital and by hand)
- Detailed knowledge of shoe making and construction
- Detailed knowledge material capabilities as applied to footwear
- Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines
