Responsibilities: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following: 1.
Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and more.
2.
Developing and maintaining timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Managing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
4.
Conducting regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities.
5.
Overseeing the maintenance and accuracy of the company’s inventory management system.

Conducting regular variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
7.
Managing the company’s fixed assets and ensuring proper recording of new purchases and disposals.
8.
Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, and producing budget-versus-actual reports for management.

Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
