What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a strong, hands-on leader who can balance technical expertise with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English and has proven experience supervising cutting, RF, or hot air welding operations in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cutting and welding operations, including RF and hot air welding equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and internal policies
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Assign and monitor work for operators and welders to meet production goals
- Train and coach team members to improve productivity and safety compliance
- Conduct quality inspections and audits of welded components
- Maintain inventory of tools, consumables, and equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance support
- Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and quality records
- Collaborate with engineering, production planning, and QA teams
Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role within cutting and welding operations
- Strong knowledge of RF welding, cutting technologies, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Experience with manufacturing software and reporting tools (preferred)
- Welding certifications or technical training (preferred)
- Lean Manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
