Senior Mechanical Estimator | $90K–$100K | Grand Rapids, MI
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead estimating efforts on complex mechanical construction projects. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, competitive bids across HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $90,000 – $100,000 base salary

What you’ll do:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for mechanical systems
- Review drawings, specs, and design documents
- Identify risks and provide value engineering recommendations
- Mentor junior estimators and review their work
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams during bid development
What we need:
- 3–5+ years of mechanical estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems
- Experience with estimating software + Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
