American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical position at a hospital in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.
Details
- 34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry capabilities
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30, available as 3x12 or 4x12 schedule
- Weekday and weekend shifts required, with 3 weekends per 4-week scheduling period
- Patient ratio of 1:5–7
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Active WV or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay

- Scrubs are not provided by the facility
- Attendance reliability is essential — candidates should be aware that the facility has a low tolerance for call-offs during the contract period
