  • Research trends, category, and portfolio to ensure that the group or division and company meet supplier goals as established.
  • Present new products and beverage offerings and conduct monthly business reviews.

  • Lead, organize, report, field intel and insights for assigned territory and categories.

Locum Tenens Vascular Surgeon Opportunity Near Norfolk, VA We are actively seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Norfolk, VA.

This is a critical role aimed at filling gaps in the current surgical team while the facility recruits permanent staff.

The position is open for immediate start and will continue on an ongoing basis, providing a unique opportunity for a surgeon to make a significant impact in both clinical and hospital settings.

Position Overview: Position: Locum Tenens Vascular Surgeon Location: Near Norfolk, VA Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM
- 4:30 PM Weekend coverage as needed On-call duties, 2-4 nights per week, with variability Dates of Coverage: ASAP
- Ongoing, continuing through 2025 Key Responsibilities: Clinical and Hospital Coverage: Provide vascular surgery services in both an office/clinic setting (2 days per week) and in a hospital environment.

Manage an average of 3 cases per day, addressing complex vascular conditions.

Perform a wide range of vascular and endovascular procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care.

On-Call Duties: Be available for on-call coverage 2-4 nights per week, addressing emergency vascular cases as they arise.

Procedural Expertise: Perform critical procedures such as aneurysm repairs (thoracic, abdominal), arterial bypasses (peripheral, aortofemoral), and the placement of vascular access devices.

Execute endovascular surgery procedures including carotid artery stenting, femoral popliteal bypass, endovenous laser therapy, and deep vein occlusions reconstruction.

Treat a range of vascular conditions including vascular malformations, peripheral artery disease, gangrene, and syndromes like Median Arcuate Ligament and Nutcracker Syndromes.

Documentation: Utilize the EPIC EMR system for all patient documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical standards.

Facility and Support: Practice Setting: Office with clinic 2 days per week, hospital coverage the remainder of the time.

Work within a well-equipped facility featuring 6 main operating rooms, 2 CVT ORs, a hybrid room, and 2 cath labs.

Ancillary Support: Collaborate with a dedicated team including 3 PSRs, 1 surgery scheduler, 2 CMAs, 1 LPN, 1 vascular tech, 2 part-time MDs, and an RN/practice manager.

Access to a full range of diagnostic and support services, including on-site hemodialysis access.

Patient Demographics: Focus on adult to geriatric populations, addressing both routine and complex vascular needs.

Requirements: Certification: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.

Licensure: Active Virginia state medical license required.

Certifications: ACLS and BCLS certifications are mandatory.

Experience: Proven experience in performing both open and endovascular procedures is essential.

Compensation and Logistics: Rate: Competitive hourly rate.

Travel: Travel and lodging accommodations provided if necessary.

Credentialing: Expedited credentialing available to allow for a quick start.
