Faculty Opportunity for Clinician Educator, UConn Health/Waterbury Hospital
Join the UConn Waterbury Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program as a full-time Clinic/Ambulatory Faculty member and be part of our dynamic and innovative team. We are seeking an experienced physician who is passionate about ambulatory resident education. This position provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of internal medicine physicians while fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Additionally, there are opportunities for rotation as an inpatient attending for those who are interested.
Supervise and educate internal medicine residents in the outpatient clinic.
Provide comprehensive patient care in the outpatient setting.
Develop and implement curriculum for the ambulatory care component of the residency program.
Actively participate in case-based discussions, grand rounds, and other educational activities.
Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging resident engagement and professional growth.
Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall residency program.

A leading urology group based in a well-appointed suburban practice in Waterbury, Connecticut is experiencing continued growth and is seeking to add an additional urologist to its team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected and collaborative practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
This well-established and busy group, founded in 1932, is one of the largest urology practices in the region. The team currently includes two urologists and three APRNs who provide a comprehensive range of urologic services to a diverse patient population.
Beyond core clinical services, the practice is actively engaged in clinical research through its affiliation with the Connecticut Clinical Research Center. It is also the founding practice of the Connecticut Center for Continence, which has received national recognition for its innovative approach to the education, diagnosis, and treatment of incontinence using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
