MaineGeneral Medical Center is looking for a Physician Assistant with a passion and enthusiasm for providing care for patients throughout the region.
- Join a team of Physicians, Physician Assistants and support staff.
- 24 hour Emergency Departments located in Augusta and Waterville, Maine.
- Combined annual volume of 55,000 patient visits
- Opportunity to work in the regional medical center in Augusta and the other a freestanding center in Waterville.
- Schedule consists of 14, 9-hour shifts per month.
- Clinical medical backup is available from a staff of 250 physicians, including Adult and Pediatric Hospitalist teams.
Job Requirements: Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited PA or NP program, have an active state of Maine Advanced Practitioner?s license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification and have a minimum of 5 years of experience.

MaineGeneral ENT is excited to announce an opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our growing ENT (Otolaryngology) department. We provide comprehensive ear, nose, and throat services, and you will be joining a collaborative team of 3 otolaryngologists and 1 PA.
Position Overview:
As a Physician Assistant at MaineGeneral ENT, you will work under the supervision of a physician to deliver high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outpatient care to patients with a variety of ENT conditions.
- Assisting otolaryngologists during surgeries and in the operating room (OR).
- Conducting inpatient rounding to ensure patients receive consistent, quality care.
While ENT experience is appreciated, we also welcome applications from newly qualified PA's. Our department is dedicated to your professional growth and will provide on-the-job training to ensure you are fully prepared to thrive in this role.
