What You Need to Succeed: A minimum of a two-year accredited echocardiography program culminating in an associate degree or higher, including both technical and clinical training.
At least 2 years of recent adult echocardiography experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Demonstrated competency in echocardiography with the ability to recognize abnormalities and adapt techniques as necessary.
Proficiency in utilizing ancillary devices such as various transducers.
Extensive experience with 2D, M-mode, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, contrast imaging, bubble studies, strain imaging, 3D, and stress echocardiography.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus: Experience with advanced cardiac imaging technologies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple cases.
Preferred Education and Experience: An associate degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Minimum of 2 years documented experience in adult echocardiography, preferably in acute care environments.
Other Requirements: Commitment to maintaining certification and licensure.
Willingness to work day shift 4x9s weekdays and weekends.
Local candidates preferred; salary is $10 less for non-local applicants.
Ability to adapt to new imaging techniques and utilize ancillary devices effectively.
Starting on 05/18/2026, this role offers an hourly rate of $62.65, with local candidates earning a competitive rate, including comprehensive benefits.
