Job Summary and Qualifications

• We are seeking a dynamic ICU Step Down RN to join our team.
• We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments.
• In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously.
• You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively
• Monitor critical vital signs enabling intervention of life threatening situations
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Requirements:

• 1 years of Recent Acute Care ICU Stepdown RN experience.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date

• Beds: ICU stepdown has 15 beds
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 3 to 1 ratio sometimes can go to 4
• It’s a true stepdown unit takes drips and long-term vents.

This is a full-time, on-site Controller role located in Lake Mary, FL. The Controller will oversee financial operations to ensure compliance and efficiency while managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
