Key Responsibilities
- Hunt for new business through proactive outreach, networking, and on-site cold calls and visits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and internal operations teams to ensure long-term success.
- Entertaining customers in ways that strengthen partnerships β travel, meals, events, and in-person engagement are part of the job.
- Relentlessly follow up on every lead, quote, and opportunity until a clear win or loss.
- Negotiate pricing and service options that balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Collaborate closely with dispatch and operations to ensure flawless service execution.
- Track activity and results in CRM systems, maintaining accurate records of pipeline, revenue, and customer interactions.
