The Dept. of Orthopaedics at New England Baptist Hospital, The Carl J Shapiro Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, (both affiliates of Beth Israel Lahey Health), and Harvard Medical School (HMS) seek applications and nominations for an Arthroplasty and Joint Reconstruction Surgeon with strong clinical and managerial experience, and an established record in orthopaedic education and research, to become Director of the newly established NEBH/BIDMC Revision and Infection Center at BILH. This is an employed position of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at BIDMC, Inc. (HMFP).
The incumbent is expected to provide managerial leadership, exceptional clinical expertise in management of complex arthroplasty cases, and support clinical, educational, and research activities within the Divisions of Arthroplasty at NEBH and BIDMC. The candidate will be also be appointed as teaching faculty at the Aufranc Adult Reconstructive fellowship at NEBH. Preferential consideration will be given to applicants who possess leadership experience managing orthopaedic programs, in addition to an impactful academic and research record.
