Typical duties may include: Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.
Searching persons, vessels, baggage, and cargo for contraband or weapons incidental to detention or arrest.
Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
Qualifications This GS-11 grade level position has a selective factor: As a minimum qualification requirement all candidates must have a qualifying Merchant Mariner Credential.

You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Independently applying advanced skill in controlling/commanding law enforcement scenes to include conducting searches, making arrests, processing arrests and seizure of evidence and property.
Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.
Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.
Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.
Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.
Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.

What You’ll Do as a Neurologist at Meritus Health, you’ll:

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school; completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency required.
Experience: Board certification or eligibility in Neurology required. Experience in stroke care and inpatient/outpatient neurology preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Active Maryland medical license (or eligibility to obtain). Current DEA Registration and CDS permit required. Current BLS (CPR) certification required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates critical thinking, extensive clinical competence, and expertise in neurology. Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at all levels. This role provides a varied psychiatry practice across multiple care settings:
Inpatient & Acute Services
12-bed Adult Acute Psychiatry Unit (voluntary & involuntary)
6-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit for substance use withdrawal and stabilization
Consult-Liaison Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine consults
Psychiatric ED consult service with dedicated behavioral health social workers
Outpatient Services
Behavioral Health Urgent Care
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Therapy services with 10 FTE licensed mental health clinicians
Telehealth psychiatry
Patient Population
Treat adults with a full spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including:
Major Depressive Disorder
Bipolar Disorder
Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders

Substance Use Disorders
Functional Neurologic Disorders
Care commonly involves management of suicidal ideation, psychosis, mania, substance withdrawal, capacity evaluations, and medication/psychotherapy management.
Typical Clinical Volume
Inpatient: 6–12 patients daily
Consult-Liaison: 4–6 patients daily
Addiction consults: 3–4 patients daily
Crisis Stabilization Unit: ~3 patients daily
Outpatient: 1-hour new visits, 15–30-minute follow-ups
Academic & Faculty Role
Join a growing academic psychiatry department with:
8 psychiatrists and 2 nurse practitioners
5 psychiatry residents per class
Clinical supervision of residents and medical students
Opportunities for didactics, lectures, advising, research, and committee participation
Faculty receive protected educational time (0.1 FTE) for teaching responsibilities.

You will be joining a collaborative team that includes 11 Physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. The practice is supported by an exceptional nursing staff and administrative team to ensure smooth scheduling, surgery scheduling and patient care.

People of any age can have injuries and diseases of the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons. We treat patients as young as newborn infants up to senior citizens in their nineties, and patients of every age between.
What we are looking for:
- Board Certified Physician in Orthopedics: Expertise in hand and upper extremity care; prefer fellowship trained in hand surgery
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients.
- Commitment to excellence in both clinical outcomes and patient experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Patient Load: You’ll manage a consistent caseload of patients, with a balanced mix of clinic and surgical responsibilities.
- Clinic/Surgery Split: Expect to spend 2.5 to 3 days in clinic and 2.5 days in surgery each week.
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call Rotation: Yes, shared among team members
