Job Summary Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Nephrology team to deliver both inpatient and outpatient care on our Wilkes Barre Campus.

Job Duties Prior Nephrology training is not required, we will teach the successful candidate the skills needed to work collaboratively/ semi-independently with our providers.

Job Duties Performs standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient position, identification and exposure techniques.

Knowledgeable in operation of all equipment within modality.

Sets up and adjusts immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices.

Reviews and analyzes patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology in performing examinations.

Assists physician with various procedures.

Reports equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs.

Maintains related records and notations.

Assists in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required.

Participates in the educational training of students.

Job Summary Geisinger's Neuroscience Institute is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our thriving neurosurgery practice at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center located in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties The ideal candidate will enjoy a practice of 1st assist in the OR on a weekly rotation, along with outpatient clinic and inpatient/consult coverage.

Call is included in this position.

The neurosurgery NP or PA will join a dedicated team of providers at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center covering all areas of neurosurgery including spine, cranial, trauma and vascular.

The successful Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-approved physician assistant program, eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine.

The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners and must be eligible for or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

An acute care certification is required for this position.

Must be certified to work with all patient population age groups.
