Position Summary: The Operating Room Surgical Technologists work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse circulator to facilitate safe and effective care.

Functions in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical procedures.

Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical cases.

Scrubs on surgical cases, operates surgical equipment, participates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the direction of the Registered nurse circulator and surgeon.

Qualifications: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: : Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: : One year experience working as a certified surgical technologist preferred.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), BLS required Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.

The salary range for this position is $77,818 to $114,285. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
