The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City H+H/Queens, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible general OBS/GYN physician and researcher.
The position includes 80-90% full-time equivalent in clinical service, including GYN surgery, Obstetrical services including management of Labor and Delivery and outpatient services. Additionally, 10-20% full-time equivalent will be dedicated to global and community health research and program development. This position includes teaching responsibility for Residents and Fellows.
This position includes faculty appointments with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science, and the Department of Global Health and Health System Design, commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. The Department of Global Health and Health System Design collaborates closely with Queens Hospital on care, research and education initiatives as part of the global-local NYC Partnership. They also partner with academic institutions in Kenya, Nepal, Ghana and Guyana. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a part time BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician to join the growing Department of Pediatrics at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Elmhurst, New York.
NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is a member of New York City’s H+H (Health + Hospitals) public hospital system and is located in the most ethnically diverse community in New York, with immigrants from 112 different countries. The Department of Pediatrics, is one of the largest in the organization, made up of inpatient pediatrics, a Level III NICU and large mother baby unit with >2500 deliveries a year, a pediatric emergency room and a busy ambulatory service. In 2019, our Ambulatory Pediatric Clinic had more than 41,500 visits and served 15,646 unique patients. The Pediatric Department has more than 40 attendings and supports a Mount Sinai GME affiliated residency program with 41 pediatric residents. Currently the Pediatrics ID clinic meets twice a week and sees a variety of neonatal and pediatric infectious conditions that require outpatient follow-up. This position will cover outpatient clinics as well as inpatient and Pediatric ED consults.
Responsibilities include: caring for infants and children with HIV/AIDS exposure or disease with a dedicated established HIV team, collaborating with the Children and Adolescent Protection Clinic, consultations from residents and general pediatricians and would afford the candidate opportunities for teaching as part of a medium-sized ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program. Evening, night and weekend phone coverage is shared with Mount Sinai Division of Pediatric ID.

The Institute for Critical Care Medicine of the Mount Sinai Health System is seeking qualified Intensivists to join our Critical care team at our Cardiovascular Surgery Program at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY. Located on Long Island this young program is looking for energetic, astute Intensivists who want to join a collaborative and hardworking team dedicated to quality outcomes, teaching and research. Training in a Critical Care fellowship is a must and experience as an attending with critically ill cardiac and cardiothoracic patients is an asset. Candidates will be expected to be proficient with standard intensive care procedures (central lines, S-G catheter placement etc). Responsibilities will include managing patients before/after cardiothoracic surgery and after complex cardiac procedures. The intensivist will work with a team of PA’s/NP’s, residents and fellows, and include day, evening and weekend shifts.
Candidates should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine. Physicians who may wish to divide their efforts between Critical Care and a primary specialty (e.g., Anesthesiology, Surgery, Medicine) are encouraged to apply.

The Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital (MSSN) in Oceanside, NY seeks a Program Director for its ACGME fully accredited Gastroenterology fellowship training program!
The program, which is comprised of two fellows per year (6 total), focuses on providing exceptional clinical training along with opportunities for clinically-oriented research. Required and elective experiences are all at Mount Sinai South Nassau, and its associated outpatient facilities, plus IBD and liver transplant rotations at The Mount Sinai Hospital, provide a truly unique experience with respect to the breadth of patients served. In addition, the Division has a separate advanced Interventional GI fellowship (one fellow / year).
The Program Director reports to Dr. Frank Gress, the Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and will be responsible for planning and carrying out the educational agenda for the program, along with the customary administrative responsibilities of the position such as mentoring, trainee evaluation and annual recruitment of new fellows. It is expected that the Program Director will work to create innovative educational experiences that enhance skills needed to care for an increasingly diverse population. Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Department of Medicine is strongly committed to treating the whole patient, and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. Of note, didactic and patient-oriented teaching involves not only fellows but also residents and medical students. There is an ACGME fully accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program with 39 residents, and there are also training programs in General Surgery, ObGyn, Family Medicine and Podiatry, with new programs and fellowships in the planning.
The ideal candidate for this position is a Board Certified gastroenterologist who has practiced for at least five years and has a demonstrated interest in and commitment to medical education. Previous experience as an assistant or full program director is ideal. The Program Director will be eligible for a faculty appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine as appropriate. This position will be supported as per ACGME recommendations, with the expectation that the selected candidate will also continue clinical practice in gastroenterology.
