Typical duties may include: Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.

Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.

Searching persons, vessels, baggage, and cargo for contraband or weapons incidental to detention or arrest.

Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.

Qualifications This GS-11 grade level position has a selective factor: As a minimum qualification requirement all candidates must have a qualifying Merchant Mariner Credential.

You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Independently applying advanced skill in controlling/commanding law enforcement scenes to include conducting searches, making arrests, processing arrests and seizure of evidence and property.

Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.

Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.

Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.

Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.

Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop microservices using Python, NodeJS, and Golang as part of automation and service validations.
  • Develop standalone Python/NodeJS scripts to simulate network traffic and validate performance across different endpoints.
  • Create Proof of Concepts (POCs) based on client needs and actively participate in client demos and technical discussions.
  • Lead the creation of test strategies and manage test environments with both physical and virtual device setups.
  • Create comprehensive test scenarios and automated test scripts using MochaJS, ensuring robust coverage of functional, integration, and regression test cases.
  • Design reusable test components, validate API and microservice behavior, and integrate MochaJS test suites into the existing automation framework to enhance reliability and execution efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements, improve test coverage, and ensure smooth integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Gather requirements and perform detailed analysis for new automation scenarios and test case development.
  • Support manual and automation testing across applications, devices, and servers as required.
  • Ensure code quality using tools like SonarQube and adhere to strict QA standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and mentorship to team members on tasks and issues raised by the client.
  • Maintain version control and branching strategies using GitHub, ensuring high code integrity and traceability.
  • Monitor automation execution, analyze failures, and drive root‑cause investigations to improve overall product quality.
  • Document technical workflows, automation processes, and test scenarios to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in QA/SDET automation roles.
  • Strong programming knowledge with Python and JavaScript.
  • Good hands-on experience with Go Lang and NodeJS.
  • Hands-on experience with MochaJS for scripting and automated testing.
  • Excellent knowledge with web technologies like REST, SOAP, XML and JSON
  • Proficiency in API testing using Bruno/ Postman.
  • Familiarity with GitHub for version control and Jira for project tracking.
  • Excellent domain knowledge in Network and cable domain
  • Should be familiar with IMS architecture and SIP protocols.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Program Overview:

A. Duie Pyle’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) is an accelerated training program designed to prepare and develop future leaders. LDP will take you on a six month progression where you will learn about operations, project implementation, brokerage, finance and other areas of our business while developing a strong understanding of the transportation industry.

Your career will begin at the closest Pyle terminal to your home. Here, you will learn about freight handling and our LTL, less-than-truckload, business. Over the course of the next six months, you will gain valuable hands on experience working various shifts on our dock and riding along in our trucks. You will learn how our operation works both during the day and at night. Additionally, you’ll spend time in our corporate office engaging with and learning from our senior leadership.

Nearing the completion of the program, you’ll receive your placement within our Pyle network and following successful completion you’ll put your new acquired skills to work.


The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Shadowing Pyle leaders to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments and formal training
  • Understanding “teamwork” – learning how all team members and roles impacts the operation
  • Participating in classroom style learning to develop industry and company knowledge, and develop professional relationships with high level leadership
  • Performing several different positions and working on various shifts to gain hands-on experience


To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Prior work experience, preferably in a supply chain, logistics, transportation or similar field; combination of part-time work, internship, and or co-op in any field or industry will be considered
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (any major) preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
  • Excellent Communication – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Willingness to relocate within the Pyle network upon program completion
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude
