Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on CNC milling and lathe machines using CAD/CAM software.

Set up CNC machines, including setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.

3.

Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.

4.

Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.

5.

Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.

6.

Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.

7.

Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.

8.

Monitor machine operation and control panel display and adjust machine to correct errors.

9.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise.

10.

Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.

Qualifications: 1.

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.

Proven experience with mill operation, lathe operation, and machine programming.

3.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings.

4.

Solid knowledge of CAD software and programming.

5.

Strong technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
