The Facilities Electrician inspects, installs, repairs, and maintains all of the electrical systems and equipment. This includes but not limited to: wiring, electrical fixtures, electric motors, motor controls, variable frequency drives, soft starters, programmable logic controls, pumps, lighting, generators and all levels of electrical distribution, transformers, and inverters.

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors, etc.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and repair/correct the problem. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Work from ladders, scaffold, Aerial Lifts and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Must be able to complete assigned Work orders and enter the completed jobs in computer system.

Safety is a top priority here at Carowinds, and our Safety team is full of professional and compassionate individuals dedicated to caring for others. Carowinds is looking for EMTs to provide emergency and non-emergency care to all of our Guests and associates. As part of this team, you'll staff the park's First Aid office and respond to medical calls on property. You'll also:

• Provides basic clinical, life support and/or emergency care to guests and associates including wound care, removing splinters, dispensing over-the-counter medications and patient assessments.
• Processes and completes departmental paperwork thoroughly, accurately and legibly as well as maintains high degree of confidentiality.
• Maintains all first aid facilities, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Performs cleaning duties according to OSHA and Park Blood-Borne Pathogen Requirements.
• Performs and interprets pre-employment urine drug screens. Collects and processes urine specimens for post-incident, reasonable cause and random drug screens.

About the position

Maintains the campground location according to Park standards.

• The Grounds Attendants are responsible for upkeep and cleaning of outdoor public areas in Camp Wilderness.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of public restrooms facilities. Components include (but not limited to) sinks, toilets, urinals, showers, counters, floors, windows, and walls.
• Responsible for daily cleaning of charcoal grills, as well as proper disposal of coal and ash.
• Responsible for picking up and disposing trash, foliage, pet waste, and other litter throughout the facility.
• Responsible for daily changing and replacement of trash cans throughout assigned property and operates trash compactor.
• Ensures guest walkways and sidewalks are clear of debris, foliage, mulch, and dirt.
• Ensures the overall cleanliness of guest coin operated laundry facilities as well as washer and dryer equipment.
• Responsible for cleaning and de-cobwebing of wayfinding signs, fences/gates, and building structures.
• Responsible for upkeep and overall functionality of storage rooms and closets.

This includes folding, stocking and delivering clean linen & terry to be enjoyed by all guests during their stay with us here in the Carolinas. You'll also:

• Work with laundry chemicals in accordance with all safety guidelines listed on the MSDS sheets. Wear personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Package and distribute clean and folded linen to storage closets utilizing rolling carts.
• Collect dirty linen from housekeeping carts when necessary

Singers & Singer/Dancers: When picking your audition piece, please keep in mind that our shows include high energy pop, rock, and even country music. Please prepare 2 contrasting vocal selections showing versatile styles- your best 16-32 bars of each. Aux cord will be provided for In Person Auditions. You MAY NOT sing a cappella. FOR IN PERSON AUDITIONS, please dress appropriately in case you are asked to do a movement combination. 

Dancers: Our shows mix traditional musical theatre and jazz with hip hop and even dance team styles of choreography. Are you a tumbler? Are you a classically trained ballerina? Are you an aspiring Rockette? We want to see all of that! Come prepared to learn a high-energy dance combination. Please plan to dress professionally, in a way that allows for movement. Please also bring at least 2 types of shoes. 

Improvisational & Character Actors + Show Hosts: Be over the top and confident! You will be provided with audition sides to read from upon check in. We do not expect you to memorize this, but we do want to see you try new things and make BOLD choices when reading for us. You may also be asked to improvise during the audition. Please be sure to include any improvisation experience on your resume.

Assists with the maintenance and installation of all the HVAC needs in the Parks. Performs services of diagnosing, trouble-shooting and installing air conditioning and heating systems, air supply and return plenums with duct board, and flex ducting. Responsibilities Differentiation:

Performs most kinds of HVAC required in the park: seeks guidance on most complex HVAC work. Works well with customers and able to explain issues that may arise.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in most aspects of HVAC function. Good verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand. Good judgment, decision making and problem solving skills.

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent. Vocational training preferred.

License or Certification:

Valid driver’s license. Gas Fitter 1 license required in applicable states. CFC recovery certification required in applicable states. Canada: Trade license or equivalent depending on trade.

Experience:

Typically requires 2-4 years of HVAC experience. Refrigeration experience preferred.

Equivalency:

Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the above requirements.
