As the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for performing assessments, developing a plan of care, and implementing and evaluating the care. You will direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel. You will work with all team members to ensure safe and accurate delivery of patientcare, and perform a range of technical services to serve patient needs. You will also be responsible for patient specimen testing, quality control and improvement, and equipment maintenance.

• You will perform patient assessments pre, peri, and post procedure

• You will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care as necessary

• You will maintain a safe, aseptic environment in the Electrophysiology(EP)Lab

• You will administer medications and complete treatments as ordered by physicians

• You will ensure that all supplies are available, as well as operate and maintain equipment

• You will ensure that the patient has a H&P documented by a physician prior to procedure

Performs direct patient care within the scope of the nurse practice act, as it applies to the outcomes and process in the Valve Clinic. Plans, coordinates and implements the care of the valve patient in the outpatient setting. Scope of the role includes acting as a liaison with physicians, patient/families and ancillary departments. Assessment of financial, medica land social resources of current and potential valve program patients in conjunction with the research team. Coordination of information flow among the medical, nursing, and financial and research staff as appropriate. Development and implement a teaching plan with the patient and family. To include lab valves, medication overview and diagnosis related information. Assist the research team in the coordination of patient charts, diagnostic studies and other applicable information per protocol.  

What you will do:

• Work with supervisor to plan, coordinate, and implement care of the valve patients in the outpatient clinic. 

• Review clinical progress of patients and coordinates communications to referring, valve and primary care physicians along with the research team. 
• Plan, organize and provide direct care to the valve patient. 

• Facilitate the development of a patient specific teaching plan. 

• Review patient’s current health information, relay information and make referrals as necessary to the physician and research partners.

Do you have the career opportunities as a Radiology Tech - Float Pool you want with your current employer? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join HCA Healthcare which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

As the Float Pool Radiology Tech, under the direction of a Physician, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• You will rotate to other ambulatory surgery center facilities
• Complete your duties according to the requirements of each procedure requiring radiological support
• Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician’s preference card
• Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition
• Follow principles of aseptic technique in performing duties during the procedure
• Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures
• Maintain adequate supplies to provide immediate availability during the procedure

Qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of accredited school of radiology
• Minimum two (2) years required; preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
• ARRT (R), BLS required; state license as required; Specialty certifications may be required as per state guidelines and/or modality
