The Senior Business Applications Manager leads and optimizes the organization's business application landscape with a focus on SQL‐based systems and EDI/data‐synchronization processes. This role is responsible for understanding, documenting, and enhancing business applications, data workflows, and system integrations to support efficient, data‐driven operations. The position requires strong analytical and technical expertise in SQL, business intelligence, and application optimization, and plays a critical role in ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with the company's digital transformation initiatives.
This position is on-site 4 days a week in Elgin, IL.
Functions of the Position:
- Leads the strategy, development, and optimization of data applications, integrations, workflows, and business intelligence systems. Oversees design and implementation to ensure reliability, efficiency, and alignment with business requirements.
- Reviews and analyzes existing business applications, data flows, and integration points to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and modernization opportunities.
- Recommends improvements to streamline processes, reduce complexity, and improve system reliability across SQL and EDI environments.
- Provides direction, coaching, and oversight to SQL and EDI teams.
- Ensures alignment of priorities, development standards, documentation practices, and project execution.
- Works closely with decision makers across the organization to identify, recommend, and implement business application improvements and data‐driven solutions that support corporate goals.
- Oversees system integrations, data synchronization, and EDI workflows to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information between internal applications and external partners.
- Provides escalation support for data translation and processing issues.
- Develops and maintains documentation for application architecture, data workflows, and integration processes.
- Ensures technical specifications and process maps are accurate and accessible for ongoing support and future enhancements.
- Coordinates the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of business applications, ensuring integrations remain stable and compatible with new technologies or updates.
- Ensures compliance with data governance policies, security standards, and best practices across all business applications and integration processes.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in database management and business application management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- EDI experience preferred but not required.
- Expertise in SQL and database technologies (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, ETL processes), with experience in system integrations, data mapping, and workflow optimization.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Formal project management training or certification is a plus.

- Between 21–39 years old
- U.S. citizen living in a surrogate-friendly state
- Have delivered at least one child and are currently parenting
- No more than two (2) C-sections
- Not receiving government or public assistance (including Medicaid, WIC, SNAP/Food Stamps, or state-funded health insurance)
- No history of pregnancy complications (including gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or pre-term labor)
- No history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or major depressive disorder
- Not currently taking medications unsafe for pregnancy (including certain mental health medications)
- Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments

Compensation & Benefits
We recognize the commitment, time, and care involved in being a gestational carrier. Compensation includes:
Base Compensation
- $60,000 – $70,000(First-time carrier to experienced carrier)
Additional Benefits
- $250 monthly expense allowance
- $500 maternity clothing allowance
- $10,500 for multiple birth
- Up to $10,000 for loss of organs (per contract terms)
- Lost wages (carrier and spouse, if applicable — based on employment verification)

Job Summary
PetSmart’s Store Leader has leadership oversight of the safety of people and pets, pet parent experience, operational execution, financial outcomes, and all human resource functions within all areas of the store. This role is expected to provide exemplary leadership for the store by driving the company culture and strategies, achieving targeted results, championing exceptional pet parent service and efficient execution of the store’s daily business while upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy within the store.
Essential responsibilities

People Leadership:
- Responsible for employment decisions such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and terminating.
- Builds an open-door culture in the store by engaging and listening to associates. Responsible for leveraging the Voice of Associate tool to listen to and respond to associate feedback.
- Accountable for creating and posting the schedule for the entire store after receiving input from Experience and Process Leader.
- Facilitates the associate experience and supports associate development. This includes but is not limited to associate reviews, recognition, team activities, labor management, training, onboarding, mentoring and succession planning.

Overall Store Experience:
- Leads the associate and pet parent experience at all levels and ensures pets in our care are safe and healthy.
- Accountable for the pet parent experience and outcomes conducted over the telephone, in person or online, and responding to general and escalated pet parent concerns.
- Builds a store environment that is focused on consistently delivering an exceptional, positive in-store pet parent and associate experience.
- Evaluates operations and seeks opportunities to continuously improve processes and services.
- Collaborates and partners with the Store Leadership team to ensure efficient and effective outcomes of in-store and community events including partnering with local adoption groups.
- Maintains store standards and leads a culture of empowerment by ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures (P&Ps) and code of ethics for themselves and their team.
- Responsible for conducting monthly Core and Services Walks to validate proper execution of policies and procedures.
- Prioritizes and ensures a safe environment for our associates, pets, and pet parents.
- Ensures compliance with all inventory management tools to guarantee appropriate levels of in-stock are available to all pet parents.
- Communicates business and financial objectives to other leaders within the store.
- Responsible for reviewing in-store cameras to assess safety practices, associate behaviors and assess risk. Follow up with associates and leaders with coaching and accountability as appropriate.
- Responsible for taking immediate action and reports when a sick/injured pet is identified in the store; transport to the vet as needed.
- Shared responsibility with store opening and closing procedures to ensure we uphold our brand promise.
Business Management:
- Deliver corporate strategy and profitability goals by executing the direction set leadership.
- Responsible for analyzing, root cause and responding to a variety of reporting in all areas of the store. Communicates business results to leaders and associates; creating improvement plans where needed
- Identifies and drives opportunities to grow the business, recognizes business successes and holds associates accountable in achieving store P&L expectations such as sales and shrink targets.
- Manages expenses such as labor and supplies and any other relevant store metrics.
- Leverages home office partners and resources to submit and follow up on store related work orders and purchase card allocation.
- Creates and posts schedules for the entire store.
- Accountable for processing payroll weekly and managing labor within a budget.
- Executes daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and paperwork as required by the Company.

Job Description
EVERSANA has partnered with Shionogi Inc. to build a virtual team to support an anticipated launch in Primary Care. The Shionogi Virtual Sales Representative will be responsible for the commercialization of Shionogi therapies via teleconference and/or telephone to selected health care offices and providers. They will provide impactful key clinical information and educational materials as part of their remote engagements. VSRs will need to be flexible regarding job responsibilities as they will include a variety of tasks: white space coverage, vacant territory coverage, as well as partnering with Shionogi employees to ensure stakeholder needs are addressed appropriately. The VSRs will create positive virtual interactions and foster appropriate growth for Client’s product(s). Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Ensure that any sample and literature requests are generated accurately and perform appropriate follow up and investigation on shipments as needed

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

What You'll Do:
- Supervise and support a team of QA Technicians, ensuring all quality checks, documentation, and line audits are completed accurately and on time
- Serve as the liaison between QA Technicians and the Quality Manager, escalating issues and driving resolution on quality discrepancies
- Conduct daily GMP audits, line audits, and environmental swabbing (ATP swabs, aseptic sampling techniques) across production areas
- Monitor routine quality checks including leakers, gas levels, temperature, weights, moisture, and product appearance - and step in to perform testing as needed
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Facilitate training sessions when quality programs or policies are updated, and actively engage production employees in GMP compliance
- Coordinate sample shipment to contract laboratories and ensure chemical concentrations remain within spec
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production and warehouse teams, including product holds and shift handoffs
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing quality, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Hands-on knowledge of SQF programs and food safety standards (HACCP certification a plus; BRC experience considered)
- Proven ability to lead a team with accountability - you know how to keep checks tight without losing your team's trust
- Strong documentation skills and sharp attention to detail

- Act as the "Voice of Manufacturing" to the Design Engineering team, providing constructive feedback on manufacturability.

- Participate in the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process for all production defects, failures, and yield excursions.

Process Documentation & Optimization

How you’ll make an impact in this roleAssess staff learning needs and develop educational programs for radiology staff and students.
Implement and evaluate training programs to ensure learning goals and competencies are met.
Support orientation programs and coordinate clinical rotation competencies.
Serve as a resource for clinical practice, program development, and professional development.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a BPA, you help protect the U.S. by securing borders, stopping illegal activity, and supporting economic stability.

- Tracking and interpreting signs of illegal entry
- Performing farm, traffic, building, city, and transport checks
- Patrolling using vehicles, horses, boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, or motorcycles
Qualifications
GL-9: One year of specialized experience at the next lower level, including:
- Searching detained persons, vehicles, and surroundings
- Apprehending or restraining suspects in violation of law
- Using firearms, writing reports, serving warrants, and gathering case evidence
GS-11: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade, including:
- Using intelligence to monitor criminal threats and operations
- Leading fraud or contraband investigations
- Apprehending violators using surveillance and detection tech
There is no education substitution for GL-9 or GS-11 positions.
Other Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Residency: Must have lived primarily in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years
- Age: Must be referred before turning 40 (exceptions for federal or veteran law enforcement)

Formal Training: After hiring, agents attend the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, NM for 6 months of instruction in immigration law, firearms, defensive tactics, Spanish, and more.
