Responsibilities: As a Consulting Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: 1.

Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals, parents, and other educators to ensure the educational needs of the students are met.

3.

Providing case management services for assigned students, including coordinating with other service providers, tracking progress, and advocating for student needs.

4.

Conducting assessments to determine student needs and progress.

5.

Providing consultation and support to other teachers and staff regarding special education strategies and interventions.

6.

Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and healthcare.

Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must possess the following: 1.

A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher.

Active CO Sped General Endorsement or must have already applied.

3.

Proven experience as a case manager and writing IEPs.

4.

A deep understanding of special education laws and practices.

5.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

6.

The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.

7.

A commitment to ongoing professional development.

8.

The ability to provide four references, with at least three from supervisors.
