The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowship is a structured 12-month post graduate training program for Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA). This program is designed for those seeking advanced training in both didactic education and clinical experiences. With focus on developing competence and confidence, this training prepares APPs to build upon the skills necessary for patient care in a protected learning environment. The APP fellow will participate in a specialty-specific didactic curriculum, simulation lab, procedural skills, online modules, multidisciplinary rounds, and quality improvement.

Ochsner Children's Hospital is seeking interested BC/BE Pediatricians for a NICU Hospitalist position in New Orleans, LA. Candidates for our level IV NICU are invited to consider joining our division working alongside an experienced team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. We are the only hospital in Louisiana to provide both Level IV neonatal and obstetric care at the same facility, Ochsner Baptist Hospital.

This job provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support services to both in-patients and out-patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. The RT-CRT set-ups, monitors and weans Oxygen Therapy and Artificial ventilation. The RT-CRT draws, analyzes and reports Arterial Blood Gases and EKGs. The RT-CRT delivers intermittent therapy and assists with changing of artificial airways. The RT-CRT provides services as ordered by a physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

This job is responsible for being knowledgeable and proficient in the pre-implant, post-implant, and/or inpatient mechanical circulatory support clinical practice. Acts as a patient advocate and patient educator while promoting optimum patient independence, self-care, and rehabilitation.
