Position Summary
Medical Associates of North Texas (MANT) is seeking a motivated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Inpatient Hospitalist Team at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, work independently with attending physician support, and deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative team setting.
Schedule & Work Model
- Shifts: 14 per month
- Hours: 7:00 PM ? 7:00 AM (night shifts)
- Schedule: Week-on / Week-off rotation (7 nights on, 7 nights off)
Responsibilities
- Manage up to 10 admissions per shift, ensuring timely and evidence-based care.
- Provide cross-coverage for existing inpatients and respond to nursing pages during the night shift.
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and formulation of differential diagnoses and management plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; initiate appropriate treatments and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with consulting physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services.
- Document all encounters in the hospital EMR promptly and accurately.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and handoff communication to day teams.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Texas (or eligible for licensure).
- NCCPA certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical background will be considered).
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital-based team.

- Assess and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries
- Evaluate minor fractures (in-house x-rays performed)
- Perform laceration repair (glue, staples, stitches)
- Document visits in EHR
