Manufacturing & Design Engineer

Job Summary
The Manufacturing & Design Engineer leads the design and execution of complex engineering projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. You’ll be involved from concept through production, owning design, improving manufacturability, and helping streamline processes through automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define products and create detailed drawings to support machining, fabrication, and assembly
- Set up routers, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and item data within ERP systems for new projects
- Interface cross-functionally to define requirements, align priorities, and manage project scope
- Partner with sales to develop cost estimates and routing times for new projects
- Support manufacturing through tooling, fixturing, and automation including robotic and orbital welding
- Drive process improvements across fabrication, welding, and polishing operations
- Develop and manage project plans, Gantt charts, dashboards, and tracking tools
- Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track
What They’re Looking For
- Strong background in mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering within an industrial environment
- Experience designing for manufacturability in fabrication, welding, or machining environments
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to work closely with production teams
- Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD (Autodesk or similar)
- Experience working with ERP systems, BOMs, and routing structures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus

Title: Construction Manaer III

Position Overview:
Oversee large-scale commissioning efforts, including project scope and risk management.- Manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring technical and operational excellence.- Develop and implement commissioning strategies to optimize plant performance.- Lead complex negotiations with EPC contractors and regulatory agencies.- Conduct high-level project assessments to drive process improvements.
Position Details:
- Responsible for coordinating and managing construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site.
- Responsible to assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on the project.
- Responsible to manage walk downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approve contractor payment requests, verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocations, assess field status, and resolve issues as needed.
- Responsible for scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules, and work in progress to ensure Construction Supervisors are effectively implementing their assignments and obtaining the desired results.
- Provides leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce, communicating departmental, station, and division goals and validating each performer’s ability to impact those goals.
- Acts as a critical bridge between field operations and customer leadership, ensuring construction crews and project stakeholders remain aligned.
- Addresses logistical challenges, resolves conflicts, and ensures construction activities stay on track. Survey and observe contractor Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) practices; provide coaching, direction and corrective action as needed
Education:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 11 - 15 years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Other: Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning.
